Having young adults in my home, things get trashed so I don't replace things as quickly as I'd like to. After 3 years of crap cutlery, I finally purchased this set and I must say that this is a welcomed change. I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who needed a nice set of knives and he loves them and when I'm over and cook I can't belive the quality. The handles are larger than your normal knives which are great for his larger hands but fit well even in mine. They are very sharp straight out the box as well. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a starter knife block.
