I have used these knives for a couple weeks now and they are great. I used the bread knife for cutting a loaf of blueberry lemon sourdough. It cut right through and did not tear or crush the bread at all. I used the larger knife to cut a tomato. It cut right through the skin with ease. I was able to get really thin slices with no problem. I have also used the knives for a variety of fruits, vegetables, and meats over the last few weeks and they have cut everything very easily and are very comfortable to hold and use. I was disappointed in the kitchen shears. Usually the blades on shears come apart to ensure a good clean (and dry), especially after use with food. However these do not come apart. The pivot point is covered on both sides, so there is not even a screw you can remove to take them apart. They do cut well, but I will have to limit their use to opening food packaging. They should not be used for food.

One thing I have always believed is every kitchen needs a quality knife set. Our old one was looking a bit worn so I decided to request this Knife Set, Emojoy 15 Pieces Kitchen Knife Set with block, Knife Block Set with Built-in Sharpener, High Carbon Stainless Steel Sharp Chef Knife Set with Hollow Handle when I came across it on Vine. I like how the set includes steak knives and all the knives I prefer to use in the kitchen. I love the stainless-steel look of the knives. I like how they are made of carbon steel. I like that a knife sharpener is included in the well-made knife block. And I love how well these knives cut and chop. Without a doubt this is a high-quality knife set that I recommend to anyone looking for a quality knife set for their kitchen. 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a pretty standard selection of kitchen knives, there seems to be a knife for every purpose. They are VERY SHARP, I'd like to think that I've kept a decent edge on my old set but these slice through everything with surprising ease. I will update the review if I think they are losing their edge faster than normal or if the included sharpener doesn't do the job. I like that they are all single piece without a pressed on plastic/wood handle. The handles are shaped so they are very comfortable to hold. I've used them for a few days now and even with 20+ minutes of food prep, I still find the handles comfortable. I don't love the wavy design on the blades but it also doesn't bother me that much either. I have had one guest comment that they look "cool". The block is pretty basic matte black and looks cheap compared to the knives themselves. For me, I don't care that much because I keep the block in a cabinet. The scissors is underwhelming, like it came from a cheaper set, and it fits very loosely into the block. For this price I would expect a much nicer scissors. I'm going to keep my old scissors that separates into 2 pieces which makes it way more convenient for the dishwasher. Overall still a great set and if you are focused on the knives themselves then I would go 5 stars easy, its just the block and scissors that bring it down a bit.

I was so excited to order this knife set with the block. To replace my old one. This is 10 Stars compared to the other one I had, which was more money than this set of knives. I like that the knives are All One piece. It comes with the block, knife sharpener, kitchen shears, 3.3 in paring knife, 5 inch utility knife, 7 in knife, 8 inch slicing knife, 8 inch bread knife and 8 inch chef knife and 6 4.5 in steak knives. They're evenly weighted, easy to hang on to and very sharp. I had no idea, how dull my old knives were, until I got these nice new knives. I can't say enough great things about this knife set. Somebody reviewed that the shears were cheap. They're much more sturdier, than my old set. I would give this 10 Stars easily. I like the built-in knife sharpener so that'll be able to keep them nice and sharp, they're easy to clean and like I said very sharp. I highly recommend this if you want a nicer set to replace an old set. They also would make a fantastic gift for college student, new home, ECT....

I have been anticipating this knife set since ordering and I was very discouraged upon opening the box. So discouraged, in fact, that I repacked it all back up and created a return. Now, the photos show that the logo EMOJOY are on every single piece of this set. This is a fact that I didn't realize (somehow) upon ordering. I think I saw the neato design on the knives and confirmed the order before truly looking over the set. When you see and touch these knives in person, realize that the material of the base is less than stellar, try out the scissors and are overwhelmed by the constant logo print, this set comes across as super cheap. I thought about using a black marker to color in the white logo on the base. The material on the base is slick and I feel like you could get away with coloring it in. Then, I unpacked the scissors and felt the quality of plastic used for the handles and the unsatisfying cutting mechanism. It felt like I was using one of my kiddo's elementary school scissors. I put the scissors into the rectangular slot where they should be housed and they didn't fit securely. They wobbled. That was it for me. For a knife set this expensive to be made of subpar quality, have an odd logo printed on every inch of the product, and not fit the items in the base I had to send back. I'll keep searching for a great knife set. This isn't it, friendos. The knives could be sharp enough to slice paper and I wouldn't be interested in keeping this on my counter top. Sorry Emojoy. The knife pattern was very fun and unique but it didn't make up for the quality issues on everything else. Also, your demographic is not interested in made-up word logos printed on their items that will be displayed in the home. Just a heads up.
