  • Wonderful product! Perfect for our daughter!
Packaged well and shipped quickly! Easy to assemble and well made! Daughter loved this so much more than her crutches they gave her. Highly recommend!

  • Hurrah- Get a kids model if you're a little human!!
So, a fractured foot, NWB for several weeks! Hooray. Not really. But, a week on crutches and I had to do something to improve my mobility. Got this little scooter and now am WAY more mobile and useful than with crutches alone. After visiting a local medical supply store to test out their scooter for rent, I determined it was too big for me. I am a small adult, 5 1' about 105 pounds. This little gem is perfect for inside the house and narrow enough to fit all the tiny places I have to go, i.e. bathroom, side of bed. It's weight limit is 160 pds. And the height range is 5-1" to 5-6". Perfect for me. It is EASY to assemble and maneuver. Yes, you do have to pick it up sometimes to re-position or make a 180 turn. If you are not stable on your good leg, this may not be good for you. I have not used it outside yet. However, I could see why people say it tips easily on the older model hard plastic tires. The new tires (included on my model), though not requiring an air pump are softer plastic and have some "give" to them. This alone should help with tipping. You need give in tires or if you come to an uneven surface, there is no movement= splat. The little basket is great for not getting in the way. Having mobility and the ability to use my hands when getting around outweighs my feelings of look like a dorkous!! To healing quickly and in union!! Yeah!! ... show more

  • Really sturdy scooter
I am really pleased with this pediatric / small adult sized scooter. It was easy to assemble, and it is very sturdy to use. I'm an adult, 5'1", 108 lbs, and this is absolutely the right size for me. I am easily able to use it on sidewalks and parking lots, etc. I don't think I have the strength / balance to use it over grass or a long stretch of uneven surface, but that is more about me than the scooter. I can carry it up and down a few porch steps, and can put it in my car, but it is 20 lbs, so it takes a little strength to carry. The basket is a real bonus, and is very helpful to have. ... show more

  • Wish steering was easier
I bought this pediatric scooter for outdoors, and the economy KneeRover scooter for indoors. I wish the turning radius was better on both, but I wheel forward and backward... like parallel parking a car... to get in the direction I am aiming for. This scooter did come with a basket, but it was almost double the price of the economy scooter. I had to make a separate purchase for a basket for the economy scooter. The economy scooter wheels work better on carpeting, and the seat - although firmer - feels better under my aircast boot. The pediatric scooter has two break handles, while the economy scooter has only one. I think one would be sufficient for either. The brakes are hard for me to engage, because of lack of strength in my hands. Overall, they provide mobility. Without these, I would not be able to get around the house or to the store, doctor's office, restaurant, etc. I still need someone to assist with getting the pediatric scooter out of the back of my vehicle, because I can put no weight on my broken foot. For me, crutches would not work, and a walker only works for very short distances. Overall, I am pleased with both scooters, but hope the manufacturer takes these suggestions into consideration. ... show more

  • Knee Rover saving my body and my sanity.
After breaking a bone in my foot, I’m in the middle of a six week non weight bearing period. I started out on crutches, but quickly found my balance in my 60’s isn’t what it once was. Not being able to move around easily only added to my stress. Thinking I would end up with more broken bones, I went onto the Knee Rover site. It leads you through questions to suggest which is their scooters is best for you. The child/small adult was their suggestion. For me, it has been great. Easy to assemble, adjustable and lightweight. The basket on the front let’s me carry ‘my stuff’ around I find I feel very stable and it very easy to maneuver. I will say I’m 5’1, long torso and shorter legs. I do have the handlebars at their highest. If your body composition is around my height but longer legs, you may find the handlebars too low. Too, now that it has worked out so great, I wish I maybe had bought the version with the all terrain wheels. ... show more

  • Zoom zoom!
I am a short petite woman, 5'2". This walker was perfect for me. I had foot surgery that was more complex than anticipated, and was suddenly nonweightbearing for three weeks. My job involves a lot of walking and up-and-down. I simply could not have worked with crutches. This is a very sturdy, well-made walker. The turning circle is a little wider than I had anticipated, and involves a bit of backing up and going forward to make a tighter turn. Assembling it was very simple. The front basket is quite helpful. It is not too heavy so I can easily lift it up and down one step. The color is a great shade of teal. The only drawback is that I found the kneepad a bit rough. I needed to wear an extra padding or an ace wrap on my knee so that it didn't become very irritated. After a few days it softened up and was fine. I oiled the back wheel twice and it is still squeaky. This is a totally minor problem. Compared to rental this is actually a better price. I am not sure if it is adequate for someone who is taller than 5 foot three or four. As an aside, if you have a leg cast, also purchase a good cast cover and a plastic stool for the shower. They are lifesavers. ... show more

  • Size Matters!!!
If you're 5'6" or less, consider this as an alternative to the full-size knee rover! At 5'2", hubby's full-size Knee Rover was just too big, too heavy, and not maneuverable at all for me (our kitchen has a center island that was a bugger to get around). Full size is wicked fast, however, if you have a lot of ground to cover. The smaller one made a huge difference in my ability to safely get around the house -- lightweight enough to just flip the front around and go. Fit through doorways better; easier access to toilets with the smaller footprint. ... show more

  • Very good and reliable.
This scooter was purchased for my granddaughter, and it worked really well for her. The only problem I had with it was that it doesn't fold up, so it was difficult to put in the car and take out.
