The removable electric pump, powered by lithium batteries charged thru a USB-C port, has 3 push buttons: Inflate, Deflate, Off and a side port, to which the 3 supplied accessory nozzles can be attached. The pump fits into a receptacle in the mattress. A short USB-A to USB-C charging cable is supplied, but no power brick. The air mattress is made from heavy duty PVC and coated with orange flocking on the sleep surface. It took about 90 seconds to inflate, after which the electric pump whine changed, as it doesn’t have an automatic stop when a set pressure is achieved. You must press the stop button. While there is another button to run the rotary pump in reverse to deflate, it is quicker just to loosen the big manual valve, which should be done when the mattress is to be stored. The reverse function can be used to soften the mattress, if overinflated. The two 11” x 15” pillows, made from thinner PVC, are flocked on both surfaces. Unlike a beach ball, they have a clever double plug that makes inflating easy. The first (black) plug has a one way valve, that keeps the air in, after inflating, so you don’t have to rush and plug it before all the air escapes. The second (clear) plug seals the black plug. The accessory nozzles were made from a plastic so slippery, I couldn’t keep them attached to the pump, when trying to inflate the pillow. Much easier to just use my mouth to inflate. The mattress is shaped to fit in the rear of an SUV, with the 2nd row folded down, when car camping, though I’ve never figured out where to put all the cargo, when sleeping in a car. So I suspect it will mainly be used for house guests. It comes with two PVC repair patches.

This is a single chamber design with a cleverly built-in but detachable cordless air pump, 3 nozzles, 2 pillows and a storage bag. The mattress is quite large and thick. it completely fills the back of a Jeep Grand Cherokee - so much so you need to move the front seats up to be able to close the tailgate. It COMPLETELY fills all the interior space behind the front seats. When inflated, it will not fit through the open rear, so you need to position it in the vehicle first. If you are moving it already inflated from a tent or cabin, you need to at least partially deflate it. It is very comfortable to lie on, the orange (my favorite color!) surface has a soft velour texture, and the overall thickness is enough so this 200 pound male does not bottom out. it does not make noise when you move on it. The cordless pump is a unique self-contained cartridge design, which slides into a well built into the bottom of the mattress. You don’t feel it when you are lying on it. 3 interlocking buttons: inflate, deflate, and power off. The nozzles let you use this with other inflatable gear so you only need to bring one pump ; the 40 watt pump just separates with a tug using it’s built-in handle.. It inflated the mattress to quite firm in about 3 minutes, deflation took about 2. The battery is rated at 2000mAh, charging via USB-C. It accomplished a complete inflation-deflation on a single charge with energy to spare. It came partially charged so topping it off only took about a half hour. there is a manual valve next to it, so if you need to, the mattress can be filled by other means. I did not evaluate the pillows. If you are vehicle camping do yourself a favor and just bring a real pillow from home. In my extended test, it stayed inflated over the course of a full week, though it did lose a little of its firmness. This mattress is also suitable for use in a (large) tent or at home for extra guests or sleepovers. I found it to be quite serviceable and comfortable, however it’s sheer size makes it a bit challenging to use in a vehicle camping application as there is NO room even in a large SUV for anything else - your gear will mostly need to be removed from the vehicle where it is then going to be exposed to weather. I would have preferred to see a narrower design that only uses a portion of the rear, or even better a multi-chambered 60/40 design that lets you selectively fill only what you need. Those exist on Amazon, are more versatile for vehicle camping while still being useful in tents and home, and one of them got my 5- star rating. I would tend to use the product being reviewed here more for a non-vehicle application, where it is a very solid choice.

Fits great in my 2018 Rav 4 XLE. Perfect for camping or long road trips. I'm a plus size person, so I'm always weary about popping these or them being too soft. I was able to blow this up to a good firmness and it didn't pop or leak air at all. It did make me sweat a lot, but i think a good blanket on top would solve this issue. I also have two large dogs, and they were able to walk on it and sleep with me no problem. Their nails didn't harm it. It's a good thick material that will last a long time. I think the only problem is that it's quite heavy. Overall, great buy. Definitely recommend

Super quick to inflate. I love the built-in pump. Fits well in our trunk space and rolls up compact enough. Slept better on this than a regular camping pad.

The media could not be loaded. This self inflating car air mattress is a very good quality. I have a 24 Ford Explorer and fits great. It's multifunctional and is perfect for car camping. It's a really nice thick comfortable material and kept its air. It really did fill within 90 seconds with very minimal effort. The air pump charged pretty quick and holds a charge for awhile. Comes with a charger and nozzles for inflating other things such as the small inflatable pillows it comes with. Those have a cool one way piece so when you're blowing it up, the air isn't coming back out. Unless you just pull the whole plug out like when you need to deflate it. Was super easy to inflate, deflate, roll it back up and fit inside the storage bag it comes with. It's quiet too. One awesome feature it has so you can inflate or deflate using the air pump, so when you want to fold it back up without air inside it making it bigger, you can just easy hit the delate button and it gets it all out quickly. Also comes with a little instruction book and patches. Great price for a really nice quality and convenient air mattress.
