Description

All Lucy wants to do is play with her brand-new, bright red wagon. But her mother has other plans for her-and the wagon. Lucy must go to the market and buy vegetables for dinner. Lucy doesn't want to do chores! But she sets off for the market nonetheless, hauling her red wagon with her. Before long, her ordinary trip becomes a high-seas adventure, a ride through outer space, and a day at the circus. As long as she has her red wagon, not even chores can get in the way of Lucy's fun. Renata Liwska's vibrant art takes center stage in this imaginative book for the youngest of readers, just the way it did in her award-winning, New York Times bestselling titles The Quiet Book and The Loud Book!, both written by Deborah Underwood. • Sweet book with adorable pictures
Format: Board book
I love this simple and sweet board book. It will be an ideal book for a one year old. The pictures are brightly colored and the little story is so cute

  • A dear little book for wagon lovers!
This is such an adorable and imaginative book with amazing illustrations. And yes, it would make an awesome add-on with a gift wagon. If you or your child are into wagons, just buy it! The age range given in the product descriptions is correct, 3-5 yrs, actually it could very well be stretched to 6 yrs also. PS- This review is for the hard cover version. The board book would not do justice to the illustrations, so I would strongly recommend introducing this at 3-5 yrs of age with the hard cover version or, if available in future a paper back version which would be cheaper. ... show more

  • Add the "Red Wagon" to Your Baby's First Library !
We bought this book as a companion gift with the RF Ultimate Comfort Wagon for our Grandson's 1st Birthday. The story line is an adventure, short but sweet . There is a a moral to the story. The illustrations are softly colorful and beautiful. This book is ideal for introducing work and imaginative play with wagons and for reading and talking with your baby in your lap. It's construction is sturdy and wipeable cardboard, good for curious babies 1-3. ... show more

  • Cute Story
Format: Board book
I got this book from the library and had to purchase it off of amazon to replace the library's copy. I had the book in reach of my little one and he just loves books! I didn't realize he also liked chewing on them and ruined the cover. This is a great story that tells a story behind the story. For children 2+ it is good for reinforcing inference. For younger children it is a beautifully illustrated story to read to spend quality time with your little. ... show more

  • Sturdily made and cute cover. Story boring but nice illustrations.
Format: Board book
I liked the board book and the illustrations. The story line was boring. I purchased it for my 10 month old granddaughter to go along with the nice red wagon we purchased for her for Christmas.

  • Good quality
Format: Board book
You hope for one thing with board books - that can stand up to being put in the child's mouth. This one is holding its own so far. The story is cute too!

  • Very cute book. Huge imagination!
Format: Board book
Very cute book. Its all about the awesome imagination of Lucy the fox. It does not have very many words, but the illustrations are cute and it promotes lots of language and learning because I am constantly explaining Lucy's adventure slightly differently due to all actions of Lucy and her furry friends. I really like this book and so does my 2 year old boy. ... show more

  • Red Wagon
Format: Board book
I really liked the story for preschoolers. The illustrations are interesting, colorful and attractive. I wish I could have gotten a small red wagon to go with the book. I guess it is not too late, but the parents would have had to take it home on the plane, and it would have been too much of a bother. ... show more
