Bought this when my son was 17 months and it didn’t hold his interest for long at first, but 20 months+ he’s been spending a lot of time with it! The flaps are pretty sturdy but he has unfortunately ripped two off.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my two-year-old for Christmas and she loves it. The book is very sturdy, so it will definitely keep up with the wear and tear of my toddler. I also love that there are flaps on almost every page so it definitely keeps her attention the entire time.

Love this book! It is full of real life pictures of animals, not drawings. It separates into categories like home, safari, arctic, etc. Also includes colors, counting to 5, differences, and patterns. It was bigger than I expected but doesn’t bother me. The only thing I don’t like is that there is writing on the flaps so we wont see the word if my kid rips it off. ... show more

My 18-month-old boy enjoys this but not as much as the truck version. He looks at the first two pages over and over and over again, but he doesn't do much with the rest of the book. What's nice is that the first two pages both have flaps. After that, there are only flaps on every other page, and that doesn't seem to excite him as much. There is one flap page that only has butterflies on the flaps, and he's not too impressed with that one. I think that was a missed opportunity, and it would have been great to have flaps on every single page. ... show more

Gave it to my 2yr old after i opened it and he loved it. He loves animals and books so he just sat there and called out the animals loudly followed by big wows. If your toddler likes books they will definately enjoy this one.
