This is the perfect pair of buds I've ever used in several different aspect. 1) I've a hard to fit ear shape and I've tested at least 5-6 different types of ear buds from the iPhone versions to the cheap kinds. This is the only set that fits in nicely and yet as a very low profile, so it doesn't protrude out much. As from the Pic, they have an array of buds sizes to choose from, I am sure 1 of them will fit your ear nicely. 2) These buds allows you to switch from single bud usage to dual, left or right works independently yet seemlessly when you have to remove anyone of them to charge. This is an extremely hard to find feature as most buds have the right as the master and left could not work by itself. Or the left has to be pair everytime it has to be used by itself. 3) The battery life is amazing at 8hrs per charge. I have not fully tested this feature but even if it lasts 6hrs, I am still very satisfied. 4) I am not an audiophile but the sound quality from my point of view is not as exceptional as headphones but from a ear buds standpoint, I think it is more than sufficient. 5) Noise cancelation is present just because the fit is very good. Background noise still exist but it is well controlled due to the good fit. Sadly the "Transparant" mode doesn't work at all, meaning that it you will not be able to hear your surrounding when you have both the buds in. It says it has been activated but the noise isolation is always there. 6) The manual clicking to me is very desirable as the touch sensors just doesn't always work but manual clicking will never fail. Klipsch did an excellant job sorting out all the controls through the usage of both buds. The catch is when you use just a single bud you lose all control except start /stop, which isn't too bad given how easy it is to switch between single and dual buds. 7) The case has some weight to it and looks so good. It looks so good that I am thinking of how best I can protect its covering from scratches from the get go. Point is that the casing felt very well built and it probably is. 8) I also notice that the left and right buds are color coded VS some other brands that has L and R very faintly printed. These are the details that Klipsch has on their product that makes me think "I knew I always has this issue but Klipsch has already resolved it in their product design"! Anyway I don't always write a review but this is 1 product I want to make sure someone out there can benefit greatly from. It's not cheap but I guess you pay for what you get. BTW I did not use their app as according to other reviews, it will simply brick the buds and personally I think it is already very good right out from the box. Cheers, Mak ... show more

    • Even Better Than The “Real” Thing

This is my 5th (Jesus, I have a problem) set of “truly wireless) earbuds. I’ve had a couple of Ankers, a set of AirPods, and the 1st Gen Klipsch T5. These are by far the best. Klipsch took my favorite aspects from all my previous sets and combined them into one package. The Anker buds sounded pretty good (especially for the price), but the fit was less than perfect. I was always fiddling with them, despite all the different options for fitment. Also, the battery life on them was less than great, and they like to try to fall out of my head. But! They had “transparency”, which allows you to hear the outside world; super useful when you’re interacting with the public. Also, they charged with Micro-USB (barf). The AirPods were, well, AirPods. There have been a few billion words already written about them, and I won’t spend any more beyond saying they sound ok, but are very comfortable long-term. Also, a pox upon the Lightning connector :( The 1st Gen T5 used USB-C, had great battery life, and sounded amazing, but...not enough eargel options, no transparency, and I found the hinge one the case to be less solid than I’d like. The lack of eargels meant I was either constantly fiddling to keep them from falling out, or jamming them into my ears in a way that was not very comfortable. Also, they stuck out pretty far...not exactly subtle lol. The 2nd Gen T5 fixes literally ALL of those issues. The buds are smaller, but still have the same great battery life. The hinge on the case is more solid! There are twice as many eargels, and I was able to find a size that fit me without being uncomfortable or needing fiddles! THEY ADDED TRANSPARENCY, and the function is super easy to activate! They’re now IP67 dust/water instead of IPX4 (added dust resistance and increased water resistance)! The black on the case is now baked in instead of painted on, so it doesn’t scratch nearly as easily (also, its “gunmetal” instead of black, which I prefer anyway)! To top it all off, they still sound amazing. I couldn’t be happier; hopefully this is the end of my earbuds quest...at least for awhile! ... show more

I hate to say this, but I've had two pairs of these earbuds and have had nothing but problems. My first set purchased in January 2024, they arrived and the right earbud would not even charge enough to turn it on. Had them in the case on the charger for over 24 hours. Tried resetting (hold button for 4 sec, hold button for 8 sec, finally held for 20 sec to completely clear and resync) nothing would make the right one work. I figured i just got a bum set, so i sent them back and reordered. Replacement set finally came Monday night. Once again, let them charge for over 24 hours. The time they both worked... hooray! Nope, because suddenly i get the notification "battery medium" in both ears. Medium? I JUST GOT THEM OFF THE CHARGER! Then not even a minute later, in my right ear i hear "battery low". Now i read the reviews and see this is a common problem. On the Klipsch app they showed left 53%, right 18%, right out of the charger! Buddy of mine got these same earbuds back in November, hasn't had a single problem with his. Best earbuds he's ever had. He doesn't understand why I'm having so many problems. I wanted Klipsch because they're made in Indiana, legendary quality and sound. I'll be sending these back and I'll get a pair of sony or samsung earbuds. NO MORE KLIPSCH FOR ME! ... show more
