  • Perfection THUMP
Style: Subwoofer
If you have a high-end receiver and 7 high-end woofers and tweeters (bookshelf, surround etc.), then you should get two of these 15 inch Klipsch subwoofers. You can get the perfect balance of deep, clear, room shaking bass. Crank the subs' volume for music, turn them halfway for movies and games. The auto-off standby power setting is awesome. When I'm playing music my tv room is a night club. When I'm watching movies and something big falls on the ground I feel it like real life. You even get a cool 3DX theater type experience from some LFE effects because the subs make a pressure wave of air. 2 of these is pure audio perfection for any application! Especially if you separate the low bass (under 120 Hz) away from the other speakers and only let the lows pass to the subs (there is a low pass filter on the subs that works very well). If you are used to having powerful subs in the car, you can get the same low frequencies, THUMP and Boooom from these. Sacrifice nothing! And the price is nothing for this kind of ultra-high-end sound. Just make sure you tape down or put padding under anything that can rattle. ... show more

  • Two words…Game Changer!!
Style: Subwoofer
Look, I’ve probably read every review for this speaker before buying. Most of them were good while a few weren’t as impressed. I’m here to tell you that this is the sub you want. I upgraded from the RSW-12 sub from Klipsch, I had it for years and I was happy with that speakers performance. But as soon as I hooked this one up, my home theater experience changed. This sub brought a new level of bass and immersion to my system that I revel in everyday. 4K Blu-Rays sound incredible, the PlayStation 5 games are very immersive and impressive, Direct TV sounds…well better. But you have to blame the content provider for that. Netflix, Prime, Disney+ etc all sound excellent and you won’t be disappointed. I am sure the 12in version of this sub sounds great, but if you got the funds for this, the 15in model, PURCHASE IT. You’ll be glad you did, your kids will love the system, and the wifey will enjoy it as well. Neighbors may get pissed, but you can always turn it down if necessary. ... show more

  • Plenty of ground shaking power
Style: Subwoofer
Really like how this sub matched my energy speakers that I already had. Hits 17 Hz on the low end, which is absolutely amazing. Would like to have another one on the other side of the room. Best bang for the buck.

  • YES!
Style: Subwoofer
The aesthetics match the audio experience. Beautiful. The frequency range reaches low enough to shake windows. However, the best listening option for me is at lower volumes. There’s something about added bass, at this level, that’s distinct and clearly makes a statement.

  • It Will Make The Ladies Nervous lol
Style: Subwoofer
All the men love the bass this thing puts out, but be warned that the ladies will be either scared or mad you bought it. It made me want to rewatch my movie collection to see what the sound production was like for each movie. The females in my life want me to turn it down because they think things will start falling off the walls and tables and break, but they never do when I watch the movies by myself. ... show more

  • Make sure everything's nailed down...
Style: Subwoofer
Picked the bigger model up on sale instead of the one I was looking at, and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Fair warning, when I was stretching it's legs in my 100 year old home, it literally felt like a low-level earthquake (in the BEST POSSIBLE WAY). This thing has some BOOM. It will run on single-channel or dual channel setups. (If your system has a single RCA cable, you're fine. If you know what to do with the second port, it's there) ... show more

  • Died after 3 years of light use.
Style: Subwoofer
Initially this was a great speaker with incredible bass output. However after after 3.5 years, the amplifier blew and the speaker just pulses now. Klipsch support is aware of this problem as several forum users have reported, but only offers a replacement amp for $300. Definitely not worth the money. ... show more
