  • I love this audio system!
Color: Walnut
I believe Klipsch hit it out of the park here. I am using these speakers as my main in an apartment. I had previously utilized the Audioengine A5 and S8 sub as my system and it was decent, but over time I felt like I was missing out on some dialogue. I found some Audioengine A2s and started running those with the S8. I found that I did prefer those over the A5. I could definitely hear more detail in my music and movies. The Audioengine speakers are a bit plastic-y in appearance which was a turnoff for me. I happened to see a YouTube review of these speakers and I really liked their physical appearance, and I figured they would sound good since I previously had a Klipsch system for my computer back in 2005, or so. To keep this kind of short, this system rocks, and I appreciate being able to set the bass where I want it. The highs are definitely on-point without being harsh. If you like retro styling these also hit the mark! ... show more

  • Buyer beware, definitely not brand new
Color: Matte Black
Box was pretty banged up on delivery and definitely resealed. When I actually opened it up there was weird little stains on the speakers and remote (remote did not come with batteries). Also one of the clamps for the speaker wire was pretty loosey goosey and wouldn’t exert enough force to get a clear signal through. After I repaired that everything worked fine and all the scuffs were purely cosmetic. 4 stars for the speakers, they sound great despite everything but 1 star for the seller for not stating anywhere that they were used. All in all they do look great as desk speakers and I’m very happy with the sound, a little thumpy at times but overall a balanced sound ... show more

  • Klipsch once again has the best PC speakers
Color: Walnut
I have had a pair of Klipsch THX certified ProMedia PC speakers and sub-woofer for about the past 19 years. The sub-woofer was in need of being retired because it has spent the past 19 years sitting under my desk being inadvertently kicked by steel toed boots. It has actually stood up to its daily torture fairly well but the cabinet was beginning to come apart at the seams on the side most often kicked. I was going to just purchase a new set of the ProMedia speakers/sub-woofer to replace the old setup but that is when I saw the Klipsch had come out with the ProMedia Heritage speakers/sub. My original ProMedia setup did not include Bluetooth (because Bluetooth barely existed when I purchased them) and the new Heritage speakers also had 19 more years of horn and sub-woofer tech innovation packed into them. So even though the ProMedia Heritage speakers were around $100 more than a new set of Original ProMedia speakers, I decided to spend the extra $100 and go with the latest ProMedia offering from Klipsch. I have no regrets at spending the extra hundred. The old ProMedia sub-woofer was a beast and it packed a punch way beyond its size. The sub-woofer for the ProMedia Heritage line is still a beast and it still packs a huge punch that you would never expect would come from a sub-woofer its size but it is more refined. The bass is just a deep and can be felt in the joints of your bones just like the old sub-woofer but somehow the engineers at Klipsch managed to tighten up the bass even more than the already very tight bass of the old sub-woofer. Even at very high volume levels the low bass is tight and crisp. The speakers themselves have also benefited from slightly larger cabinets which has opened up the sound coming from each speaker. The old ProMedia speakers/sub-woofer were a great 2.1 speaker system for the desktop and PC. The new Heritage 2.1 system improves on what was great and is an outstanding system. I cannot find fault with any part of the new Heritage 2.1 system at this point. Perhaps time and my steel toed boots will uncover something (I have relocated the sub-woofer to a location where it will be harder to inadvertently kick though). I guess time will tell. ... show more

  • It's A Deva In Good And Bad Ways!
Color: Matte Black
The sound and finish are outstanding. The interface is very flaky! The speakers then to drop out during gameplay when it's quiet, I have to use the remote to restart the speakers constantly. It's gotten to the point where I play music in the background while gaming to keep the speakers going. Today they would not power up. I looked up trouble shooting and found the factory reset instructions. It didn't flash the LED exactly like it was supposed to, but it got the speakers working again >>>> If your speakers are down WITHOUT the LED lit, turn the power switch on the back off and on and then push the volume knob in and hold for over ten seconds. If your LED starts flashing turn the power switch back off and on again. You should be good to go at that point.<<<< ... show more
