Best speakers ever made by Klipsch. I had RP-8000FII before getting this and I had secondary thoughts of getting this beast of a speaker. But, now I regret why I even wasted money on getting my RP-8000FII. THIS RF-7III is the perfect epitome of musical luxury. With Crystal clear highs. I'm deciding to buy Klipsch RF-7iii speakers. I would strongly suggest you check Klipsch's list of official authorized dealers, because Tjernlund (listed here) isn't on the list and suspiciously inferior quality counterfeit.

I gave these 5 stars but they ARE $3500/pair and I don't know how they sound compared to other speakers in a side by side comparison because that wasn't available to me when I listed to them today. I did compare them to the full line of Klipsch availble at the store, with the RP-280Fs being the next ones down which are only half the price, but the difference was quite easy to hear. These are beautiful sounding speakers- a big clear sound which I will be driving with a Crestron SWAMP 24x8 if I do get them. I listened to various music including a Widespread Panic performance I was at, which has 2 keyboard sounds, 2 types of percusssion, congas and standard drum set, 2 guitars, vocals and bass. It was a uncompressed 24bit recording in flac format. I could hear every nuance of every instrument driven at 150 watts all the way down to a low volume. I was very impressed. Now I have to listen to other speakers in the same price range to see what the others sound like. These set a high bar. ... show more
