    • Softer metal than expected. Mid tier tool.
While this does function it has some issues. The detents for the drill chuck are very slight, and the steel is soft. My drill chewed the metal round the first time the bit went into an old stud. I would upsize the chuck side for a better connection. Otherwise it’s a drill bit with some flexibility to it. Haven’t yet managed to break it. ... show more

I've used flex bits for about 10 years now and this ones just about the same. I'll add on to this after its done a few dozen drills. I like the angle handle that was with it though. It works great for the flex bit or any pull rods you need to get a nice 90 degree turn done in a tight space. Haven't used the little wire mesh piece yet. Don't know if I ever will. Sharp bit pulls itself through quickly. Nice place to attach a wire or string to pull back through. Could have been a few inches longer, when doing a switch height hole going up, it tries to pull the drill through the hole before it gets through the header. Worked great going down. A replaceable bit would be nice. ... show more

    • Klein very disappointed with this, no better then a cheaper homeowner type tool?
The pulling grip (cat. no. kps050) is made where it will not attach to the drill bit, I will have to wire it to the bit? if I wanted that I would tape it and not need this pull. the end of the clip on the pull will not fit into the hole of the drill bit. The drill bit is not machined or forged looks to be molded and not a great mold at that and I don't think it is sharp and the thread that pulls the bit into the wood is rounded and the end that fits into the drill is machined but poorly? For Klein I would say it is a knock off or I will stop buying Klein tools; they aren't cheap tools they are made for professionals . the Placement Tool is made to lock open but I had to bend it a little to get it to lock. what is with this Klein set? Klein very disappointed with this, no better then cheap homeowner tools? ... show more

    • Can't do the job without it!
With this set all of the components needed to fish a wall are there, you don't have to "rig" something together. Adding an Extension is my only recommendation to speed up the process tremendously. One tip; this is a 3/16 inch shank, if you do order an extension make sure it is not a 1/4 inch shank.
