    • Spout Cap Has To Go Straight On

Fits correctly in bottle opening. Cap for spout has to go exactly straight on the spout, or it won't go on. It fits over the outside and inside of the end of the spout, so I push until I feel it contact, wiggle a bit, and push it down. Very tight fit, but that means no leaks, even without screwing it on. Screwing and unscrewing spout cap is a bit tight, too. I imagine it will get a bit looser over time. Spout is flexible and not hard plastic. I put this on the 64 oz TK Wide insulated bottle because it didn't have a handle. Metal loop on cap is perfect, and sturdy, just slip a couple of fingers through it and carry. I bought this lid for a Klean Kanteen compatible with TK wide lids. Works perfectly as expected. No leaks, chugs well, sips well. It even allows small pieces of to come through once some of it has melted down.

This cap ticks all of the boxes. It is very easy to clean - no hard-to-reach areas. It has a smaller spout and cap that's very useful for drinking. It is wide, which allows for easy bottle cleaning. I love the integrated handle. Its seal is excellent. There is one major con: the cap occasionally locks very tightly to the bottle and is very hard to unscrew. There are no parts of the cap (and bottle) that can be used as leverage to apply adequate torque to unscrew. The steel handle rotates around the cap and isn't rigidly fixed. No, this isn't because the cap is screwed on with unusually high tightening torque. As I write this, my year-old cap is impossibly stuck on the bottle. After much effort, I am on the verge of tossing it along with the bottle, which would be a painful shame. ... show more
