The Stool: The stool is perfect, I use it in my recording studio to quickly get around and use instruments with ease and it has made my life much easier. The top of the seat fully depressed sits at about 18" high and at 22" at extension, which works well with both my desks and Keyboard. Plastic wheels are stable and have no issues rolling around on carpet, I weigh 170 lbs so wheeling around is easy for me and I have no issues with the stool moving when I'm stationary. I may just be imagining this but it feels as though the seat is more comfortable at certain points so if it feels off for you, turn the seat some and try it again. Assembly consisted of 4 bolts and a Hex key that was easy to use, but most of the stool just slides together. The wheels need to be snapped in so children or the elderly may have trouble, that being said, I wouldn't consider it difficult so don't let that push you away. The Service: My package was delivered to the wrong address, I contacted the seller and they QUICKLY gave me the info I needed. By time I contacted fedex the seller had already contacted them and the issue was resolved the next day. Would buy again. ... show more

I use this constantly to get around apartment. First the individual wheels cane off, then the whole wheel assembly broke off - two of them - making it totally useless. The plastic fittings just broke. Rated for 300 lbs but isn isn't. Had to buy a new more durable stool.
