Fabric dressers are a budget-friendly alternative to all-wood dressers. They ship in a flat box. Screw together a bunch of metal pieces to form a frame, install a composite top, then pop open the reinforced fabric drawers and slide them into the slots. Viola! In two hours time you have a lightweight dresser that can store items like clothing, toys, and crafting supplies. This is my second cloth dresser, so I knew what to expect. It arrived in many pieces, adequately protected in a 7x14x58 inch box. Clear instructions and numbered hardware made installation organized, and mostly easy. The only tricky part was slotting the top shelf onto the backing boards. Once everything was puzzle-pieced together, it felt solid enough for moderate use, but I wouldn't allow children to climb on it, even when wall anchored. (Anchor hardware included.) The frame is square and the drawers all fit tightly and evenly. My original intent was to use the dresser in my coat closet, so it didn't matter if the black one I wanted wasn't available. I settled on the wood grain pattern, even though I didn't care for it. Surprisingly, now that I've seen it in person, I don't mind the wood pattern at all. It looks better than in the product photos. Only the shelves are wood, some sort of textured wood composite with outer laminate. The drawers are heavy black fabric all around, except for the front, which is fabric printed to look like wood. It's oddly convincing. Not that it looks like real wood, but it does look like real laminate, not cloth. The drawer fronts and bottoms have a thin reinforcing layer inside the fabric, which could be plastic or cardboard. The drawers hold their shape well, but I wouldn't put heavy or sharp objects in them. No rocks or weights. A nice feature is the LED light strip hidden under the top shelf, which evenly lights the display shelf below. It offers the standard range of LED colors, and a few modes. If there's one thing I wish I could upgrade, it's the outlet strip for charging. It looks a little cheap, and USB connectors don't slide smoothly in and out. The dresser that was originally intended to hide in my coat closet might find a different use as a keyboard stand. My 51 inch keyboard fits on the display shelf like it was custom built for it, and the colored LED lighting on the keys is fun. I can pull out the middle drawers to fit my knees underneath, but comfort doesn't really matter because I use it mostly for rhythm effects while playing other instruments. I literally would never buy this again and ABSOLUTELY FO NOT recommend. The drawers in any of these dang fabric dressers never fit. It’s very tight and i have to fight with the dresser to get the drawers in and out. They definitely do not align. As i was putting in my drawers they started ripping I’m highly disappointed. I would return it and get my money back but i’m in desperate need for a dresser. I’m very upset. keep your money. ... show more

This Dresser worked perfect for extra storage in a spare bedroom. Though this dresser has fabric drawers, it is actually very sturdy and well built for what it is. The dresser is cut and simple and has 9 medium sized drawers that slide easily and are able to hold extra towels, clothes, or any thing you need to store. The wooden top works great for some cute decor and it has a little charging station on the top so it also makes a perfect area for when we actually have guests over. The LED lighting is also a great addition for when the grandchildren come. It makes a great nightlight and they love to change the colors. The sturdy metal frame keeps everything stable and helps add some weight to it. Assembly was fairly easy and straightforward. Everything went together easily with very little cursing. This dresser is definitely not a high dollar, last forever, type dresser as you would clearly know by the price point, however, it is perfect for a light use storage option and its a great value for what you do get. ... show more

I got this for my teen daughter. Her room is kind of small but teenage girls and clothes are always going to be a thing that’s a challenge when it comes to storage options. This is a fairly large dresser but after my husband finished putting it together, it looks great. He said it was pretty easy to assemble, and the bins / drawers are a pretty good size. Wide and deep and can definitely fit aloe of her folded clothes. She loves the color blue, so she keeps it on that setting. You can change the colors, and control how bright or dim you want the lights tone. It’s decently heavy in weight so I’m not concerned about it toppling over. She can plug her phone in, speakers and put her jewelry box and music box on it too. I’d say this is a very nice and functional dresser and the price point is have to say matches. I’ve searched for similar dressers like this one and they’re priced more than this one is. ... show more

This dresser is nice for what it is. A budget, not forever type of dresser but good for the time being. The width and height of this dresser are good but it's a bit shallow in dresser terms. Good for areas that are limited on space. The built in LEDs provide nice accent lighting at night. The built in power strip is a welcome touch too. Assembly was average. I had issues getting the backing to line up correctly but was eventually able to finagle it to "good enough". I like that it has adjustable feet because mine was slightly out of square.
