So overall this is a nice headset. Is very comfortable, and very flexible in terms of how you want it positioned. I especially love the front knobs where you can move the headset closer or farther from your face. Also works with AMZR facial interface. Battery keeps my headset pretty much full the entire time and I gives multiple hours more playtime. Now here is important part, you may get buzzing sound from battery area. I can confirm that is NOT the batteries making the buzzing. If you do get buzzing.....contact kkcobvr and tell them about it. They immediately sent me a new updated rear magnetic back plate. I included pictures of it. The new one has new attachment on the new wire and it's longer. This upgrade has eliminated all the buzzing I was getting before. So hopefully that helps you guys out. If you have this headset and your wire is not like the one I posted, you have the old one and it will probably buzz.

Update 05/27/24: I was contacted by the company about my issues. They quickly tried to resolve my issue and sent me the updated back plate. I have now updated my review to add that the customer service has been excellent. I have no issues recommending this product and this company. They were extremely helpful with all my issues. I definitely recommend you trying the head strap and I think it is better than the BoboVR head strap, especially for the price. Original Review: I really like the Q3 Pro Head strap and it is very comfortable. There are a lot of adjustments that you can make with the head strap for a better fit on your head. The stock head strap was putting pressure on my face and made it uncomfortable after a short time. With the new head strap I can wear it for much longer without it hurting my face. I really like the head strap but there are 2 issues that I have. 1) Since the head strap is quite sturdy and attaches a battery it does make the head strap heavy. It is not too bad because the weight is mostly balanced so you can adjust it to be more comfortable. 2) The bigger issues is the battery buzzing sound. It can get quite loud and annoying. I have read in another review that KKCOBVR, sent them another backplate with a new wire that helps with the issue, but I do not have that new backplate. I’m not sure how to contact the company and if I am able to test the new backplate, I may come back to update this review. But at least currently my battery buzzes and it can get quite loud.

So far (one week), it's a pretty solid Halo strap, build quality is better than I expected, feels premium when you're holding it. Battery is WAY BETTER than I expected, after (roughly) 2.5 hours of graphicly intense gameplay (Mothergunship, sandbox mode) the battery inside the headset was at 94 and the strap battery was somewhere 50 and 75. It lost half a star when I saw that spare batteries were $35, I am NOT paying $35 for a battery that is going on a $50 headset...other than that, it's a solid headset and I highly recommend it. Almost forgot, the rumored "buzzing sound" from the battery doesn't exist, in use or while charging.

I got this headset after trying an elite-style non-halo strap (I forget the brand), the KKCOBVR Q3 non-pro, and the BOBOVR M3 pro. This is the best of the three. It's easy to adjust, the most comfortable, and well priced. I'm using it mostly without a facial interface installed. Compared to the Q3 non-pro this is much better balanced, especially for use without a facial interface, because of the included weight of the battery on the rear, and the padding on the rear head part. Compared to the BOBOVR M3 pro this head strap is much much MUCH easier to adjust because of the knobs at your temples and the way the top straps are designed. All adjustments can be made while wearing it, which is how it should be, unlike with the BOBOVR. The only thing that the BOBOVR does better is overall quality of the plastics, feels a bit more solid on the BOBOVR, just a bit, but this KKCOBVR is fine, I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. Also the way this strap allows the quest to be flipped up while wearing is extremely useful. Get this one!

This head strap is extremely comfortable and does a great job of keeping pressure off the face. I purchased this strap a few months ago and had received an earlier version that suffered from an issue where the battery made a buzzing noise when connected, which is mentioned in several past reviews. Last week, when I read in another review that there was a fix for this issue, I messaged the seller, and within minutes, they had a replacement part (the back plate with the attached power cable) on the way, which I received today. Now there is no buzzing whatsoever. I would imagine these now ship with the updated back plate/cable, so you probably won't have to worry about getting one that buzzes. Appreciate the seller's quick response, and I am very happy with this head strap.

3 minutes. That's the time it took to say "OMG" and order a second one for my second Quest3.. This headset is SO SO comfortable. There's not much to write about it. It's all good. Fit, Finish, Function! I literally just bought another one. We had so much fun with the Quest 3 that I bought another one. The KKCOBVR just came in. I added it to the goggles and OMG what a comfortable fit. It's snug, it's soft. I really hope it doesn't crap out. I simply installed it and was so delighted that I just purchased a second one without evaluating the first one. Hell, even if the battery don't work, the headset is so much nicer to wear over the original Meta head strap which is absolute garbage compared to this KKCOBVR Head Strap. BUY IT! BUY IT! BUY IT! and don't look back.

The KKCOBVR Q3 PRO Battery Head Strap 10000mA/h feels good. The battery is pretty healthy and I believe that its 10000mA/h. It charges the headset battery. That's it. What it does not do is passthrough data. Meaning, PCVR wired is out while using this battery headset. The only way to play PCVR is the normal way: plug the Quest 3 into the PC directly, which eliminates the need for the battery. They can't be used both at the same time. It's comfortable.
