Features

  • PLUG & PLAY INDOOR INFRARED FILL LIGHT: Compared with the traditional infrared light, i2 is easier to use, only plug into the VR and then work. 2 gears of brightness are optional, letting you enjoy the VR in a dark environment without disturbing others. NOTE: i2 can be used normally with a battery head strap at the same time and can see VR is charging, but it does not show the power of head strap. Displaying the power level is the official patent, which cannot be done by third-party products.
  • TWO-GEAR BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT: When the I2 IR light is turned on, the furniture and walls of the room will reflect infrared light from all angles, so that the infrared light fills the entire room, maintaining the sensitivity of the VR sensor in the dark. The first gear of brightness can be used in a room of 15-20m2, and the second gear of brightness can be used in a room of 30-40 m2. If you need to use it in a larger room, you can buy multiple I2 lights, with a power bank or charger use
  • ENERGY-SAVING IR LIGHT: Gear 1 brightness consumption (0.8w)2.2%/h, gear 2 brightness consumption(1.5w) 4.5%/h, While ensuring sufficient light, I2 Ir light will not consume too much power of the VR. At the same time, a type-c power supply port is reserved to plug in the battery head strap that can use an i2 IR light and charge VR at the same time.
  • MINI PORTABLE DESIGN: The I2 infrared light weights only 6g and supports a 120 field of view, it does not affect the weight balance after plugging into the VR, does not block the headphone port, and allows the external headphones to be used normally.
  • PACKAGE: I2 IR light comes with a type-c to type-c extension interface, and a type-c to USB adapter, which can help your I2 Ir light be powered by a charger or a power bank. • Works great!
Item is exactly as described and works perfect in the dark

  • Works perfectly as Described!
I'm able to use 6DOF head tracking, as well as controllers or hand tracking seamlessly in pitch black. A rarely mentioned benefit is no light bleed from under the nose because there's no light!

  • Simple accessory, noticeable result.
It works, well. I have a room setup where, normally, I use 4 ir lamps to keep tracking on point, but whenever I’m in another part of the house, or in the backyard, I pop this in and it does just fine. Is it perfect? Nah, but it’s pretty nice, the battery/data pass thru work and it does what they say it does: It supplements (or replaces) your current lighting setup to improve tracking. Bada-bing, better VR. ... show more

  • This is a really cool idea and I love it.
This device essentially makes it possible to play VR in complete darkness well mostly. It is a bit finicky losing tracking occasionally but if you need to play in the dark for some reason this will probably be your best friend. Another useful application for this is night vision if you use passthrough on your quest you can see in complete darkness! Or rather your quest can but you'll see through its eyes/lenses. Making it possible to sneak out in complete darkness to grab a snack or just have fun with it. It's like having a flashlight attached to your head that only you can see the light produced by it which I suppose is exactly what it actually is. It's not perfect but it's cool to have. There's also a plug in the back so you can still charge your quest with an external battery while having it attached. Although if you plan to use PCVR with a link cable you will have to take off the device to use it. ... show more

  • Works well, however...
This product works very well, but for whatever reason it turns off if the power from the power bank (I have the battery pack headstrap from the same brand) runs out. If its still plugged in, it will stay shut off until you unplug the cord, then it starts running off of your headset battery. This can be a particularly annoying while in the middle of a game for obvious reasons. If for whatever reason you don’t use a spare power source while playing, then you've got nothing to worry about. ... show more

  • Good for the money
Nice build but drains your battery pretty fast. Would recommend keeping your headset on its charger with this one.

  • This has made using the Quest so much better for me...
This has made using the Quest so much better for me. I typically use the Quest in low light conditions. While it is enough light to not get warnings, I still did not get smooth performance. I had no idea this was a lighting issue until I got this device. Now the quest can track everything in the room and the VR is liquid smooth as a result. This has also fixed hand tracking for me. Unless the Quest can easily see your hands, that feature doesn't work well at all. And there was one unexpected bonus feature... NIGHTVISION! Yeah, I'm a huge geek and I love my technology. Now when I put the Quest on pass through mode, I can walk around my house in pitch black darkness and see just fine. Considering this only cost $20, that's pretty cool! Well, at lease I think so. My daughter was not very impressed. :) ... show more
