Description

Cooling Fan for PS5 Cooling Fan for PS5 Slim Cooling Fan for PS5 Slim Cooling Fan for PS5 Pro Cooling Fan for PS5 Pro Is it compatible with all PS5 models? Will it block any rear ports? Designed for orig. PS5 Disc/Digital (2020). Incompatible w/ Slim/Pro. Aligns w/ rear vents; does not block USB, HDMI, LAN, or power ports. Verify console version before purchase. Does it help improve heat dissipation? The upgraded larger fan design enhances rear exhaust airflow to improve heat circulation around the console, helping heat dissipate more effectively during extended gaming sessions. Improved airflow can contribute to more stable performance. Is it noisy while gaming? The fan is engineered for efficient airflow with reduced operating noise. During typical gameplay, it stays relatively quiet and unobtrusive, even through extended sessions. Why does the fan run at first and then stop? On power-on, fan enters Auto Mode, runs low speed 2–3 min for temp calibration. After detection: <39°C—standby; 39–43°C—low (3500 RPM); >43°C—high (5000 RPM). Fan may stop if console temp low. Normal behavior. Does it have adjustable fan speeds? "Yes. The fan features three modes controlled by a switch: • OFF – Fan off • Constant Mode (I) – Steady speed for continuous cooling • Auto Mode (II) – Automatically adjusts speed based on console temperature" Founded in 2019, KIWIHOME creates thoughtfully refined products for the tech people use every day. I've had some problems with my PlayStation 5 overheating for awhile now. Long story short I cleaned the interior fan and that helped but it wasn't quite enough so I ended up buying this Cooling Fan to help alleviate that access heat. And what do you know it works wonders. First off I really like that it has the same white aesthetic as my PS5. It also has some pretty cool Blue LED lights that you can have on manually or automatically which I think is cool. The cooling fan was very easy to install All you have to do is have a USB port available on the back of your console. And if you were using that USB port for something else don't worry the cooling fan has one on the back that can be used if needed just think of it as an adapter sort of. I myself use that port for a charger. It is not too bulky and is very sleek looking in my opinion. All in all I would recommend this Cooling Fan if you have a first gen PlayStation 5 just like me the fan speed is pretty good and it has a light and durable frame so it not to in your way ... show more

The cooling fans arrived today, quick easy install!! Nice look, fans are not loud/noticeable. PS5 makes more noise lol. Can't wait to have a gameathon playing GTA 5 true test to see if the fans can keep the system cool. Right off i liked, Easy install, has 3 modes OFF, On and Auto. They turn on when the heat changes, can feel the heat being sucked out. Can't wait for the true test this weekend. Lol ... show more

    • It works and is worth the money. - one star since it blows aor out and not in but super happy!
Size: PS5 Fan Color: White
Didn’t realize it blows air out not in but it works! Been having an issue with it shutting off from over heating and it didn’t do it at all once installed. I think it would work better if it blew air in instead of out since when it’s standing (where my main issue happens) it still gets the over heating message here and there but it didn’t shut off once and that’s a huge improvement. You can also use it standing or on its side. Slips on in 2 seconds and fits like a glove. Auto mode is great so it turns on and off with the console itself. And the usb port it plugs into isn’t wasted due to the extra one on the fans themselves. Highly recommend, only took away one star since I think it would work better blowing air into it instead of out. But it fixed the main issue I was having with crashes due to over heating. This is the first time in months I could stand it up and not having to lay it down to avoid it overheating and crashing even after cleaning it. ... show more

Worked great for my BF’s PS5. It pulls the heat out of the console to cool it down. Definitely worth the buy for overheating PS5’s.

Size: PS5 Fan Color: White
I got the KIWIHOME Cooling Fan for my PS5, and it works really well! It’s quiet, so I can play for hours without being distracted by noise, and the airflow is strong enough to keep my console cool even during intense gaming sessions. It’s easy to attach and fits perfectly on the PS5 without blocking any ports. The build quality feels solid, and it doesn’t wobble or shift while the console is running. My PS5 stays much cooler now, and I’ve noticed it runs smoother during long sessions. Definitely worth getting if you want to protect your console and improve performance! ... show more

    • Seems to work well
Size: PS5 Fan Color: White
The fan assembly installed easily enough. My PS5 is in a TV unit that is somewhat air flow constrained but I have to room for the PS5 on the shelf with the T.V. I leave the front of the cabinet open while using the PS5, but regardless, I felt adding a little extra air flow was worth it. I'm playing Horizon Forbidden West so I could hear/feel the internal cooling working when playing the game before I bought this unit. After adding it, it seems to reduce the amount of RPMs the internal cooling runs on demanding games. The PS5, like all modern computing systems will have its own thermal protection so for the most part this isn't so much about preventing your chips from frying, but from the PS5 throttling down the performance to stay cool. So in that regard, this unit might help those who can only put their PS5 in less than ideally ventilated situations. On high speed, the fans are noisy. On low speed they are much quieter and not noticeable over modest game audio volume from 4-6 ft away. The LEDs are not noticeable when the console faces you. In rest mode the fans are off. The unit is held in place by one of the the rear USB ports ad a flexible plastic clip that clips into the anti-theft cable lock hole on the back panel. We'll see how long it lasts, but if it spares some cycles on the PS5 internal cooling fan, maybe it's worth it. When I hold my hand above the PS5 before and after adding this unit, I feel less heat dissipation rising from the PS5 so seems to be helping. ... show more
