I am in love with this comforter. I tend to sleep cold. Before my comforter, i would wear many layers of clothing, and have 3-4 blankets on my bed and keep my room at 66 degrees. I was so warm last night that i turned my temp in my room down to 62 and stripped almost all my layers off! Its light weight, super soft and so warm!!! I really appreciate that these are sustainability harvested feathers too. Im amazing and truly thrilled!!!

First off, I will mention that you want to make sure this insert is compatible with your duvet cover. The tie points on this are in the middle of the edges, not the corners. Second, I highly recommend opening this outdoors and shaking it out. I made the mistake of opening this inside and there was quite a lot of loose filler debris that landed all over my room. Third, this sheds no matter what you do. I have a black velvet duvet cover I put this is and the filler is constantly working its way out through the cover. Feathers and strands alike. I've tried shaking it out outside and running it through the dryer but this issue persists. If you have a white cover, this probably won't be an issue because you won't notice the bits working their way out. Otherwise, it is a nice insert and it's quite warm. Even with the all-season version, I start to get a bit warm once the room temp goes above 60F (for context, I live in Montana and I'm adapted to much colder weather than most of the rest of the US. 65F is comfortable to me with no blanket at all). I'd say that if you find 70F comfortable, this comforter will feel like the room is 75F. The weight is nice; it's not heavy but it's not ultralight either. It's a pleasant mid-weight. All things considered, it's a good product that only has the issue of shedding and lack of options with tie points. I really think they'd be better off having a tie point on each edge AND each corner so that it's compatible with any kind of cover.

If you are wondering to purchase this comforter or not, please do not hesitate. This is the second comforter, I have purchased as my college son confiscated mine. The comforter may be washed in your washing machine and dryer, if large enough, or to a dry cleaner. It fluff up 10 minutes in the dryer, and I did not find any smell that others have commented upon. This is by far the nicest comforter From a construction and fill and quality of fabric standpoint I have ever considered.

After spending hundreds of dollars buying new blankets for my bed for winter, this was the one I was most excited about until I received it! I thought this item would fluff up? It didn't! I'm fairly certain I got the one for summer time or all season though I purchased the one for winter? It's supposed to be thicker and warmer for winter but I assure you it is not! I've been disappointed at stuff before but this takes the cake! I'm off grid on top of a mountain where we get a lot of snow and very cold temperatures in the winter! I spent $200 on this thing and it is a piece of garbage I wouldn't have spent $50 on! It is thin and the feathers don't even go all the way through it! The left side of the bed has hardly any feathers at all and the right side of the bed has a few feathers but it's so dang thin it doesn't make it different she might as well sleep with a sheet! All I can say is don't buy it and you have been warned.
