I Liked EVERYHING about this new addition for my Canon T8i/850D. I can't speak for other camera bodies, but I know it fits perfect on my camera. It was easy to put on. The rubber is soft and pliable but NOT too soft. It allows me the little extra distance, so my nose isn't too pressed in against the camera body and it blocks a lot of background light. As you can see in my pictures it does not interfere with the flip out LCD screen nor does it fall off. It fits very snug and firm. I am very happy with this purchase.

After an unfortunate drop that damaged the factory eye cup, I had to purchase this hood out of necessity, not desire. A few months later, my only regret is not having bought it sooner. It feels/fits as good as an OEM piece and I no longer have to shield my eye from the sun when shooting outdoors. Great product!
