When they said this was an anti-vomiting foodbowl, I thought it might just be a lot of hype. But I am here to tell you that it works! Halleleujah! It works! My cats were vomiting at least once or twice a week - and I just got brand new carpet that is so thick and hard, hard to clean! This was a must. I took delivery of these bowls on October 20 - today is November 12 - and in this time period, there has only been one vomiting episode. Such a relief to have found the answer to that problem! This is a very special case but I couldn’t recommend these more! Our Smaug has severe CH and doesn’t walk at all. To help with mobility and muscle strength, we made him a wheel chair that he also eats in so he can eat upright but we’ve been struggling with finding the right bowl to fit his wheel chair. In the past, he would pick up and throw his bowl every two seconds with his mouth spilling it everywhere and he would need to be monitored constantly. With this design it snaps on to the front and tilts forward for easy access and he can’t throw it around. It could not be more perfect! ... show more

These are really nice bowls and my cat can eat from them while standing. They also look nice. The reason I only give four stars is I feel like they're a little too deep for him and his whiskers touch it when he trying to get food from the bottom. Other than that I really like them.
