I like that it isn't breakable because I feed my cats on a counter so my dog doesn't have access to their food. I like the non-skid base that keeps the dishes in one place. My cats often walk away from their food, leaving food pushed around to the sides of the dish that they then ignore and now they eat more of their food while it's fresh out of the can without me having to move to the center into a taller mound. I would have liked to have been able to order two of the same color though (2 gray versus 1 gray and 1 white), just for a uniform look. My cat immediately took to liking these bowls. They are a few inches higher than his previous stainless bowl, and it seems like he is much more comfortable eating from the new plastic ones. Wet food does not get stuck in the crevices like it did in the stainless, and he is able to eat up all of it. I like the blue and tan colors since he is a boy, and even though it is not slip resistant, it doesn't move much at all. I think these bowls are a great bargain! Ever since I noticed my cat eating from her bowl weirdly, I looked it up cats don't like when their whiskers touch the sides of their food bowl! I've been experimenting with different food bowls, and this one seems to be her favorite!
