I actually needed extra bowls due to ceiling leaks after the January 26 nor'easter. But my mixing bowls also needed replacing, as a handle had broken off my favorite one, just from being dropped on the floor. These are super sturdy and will outlast me. I liked the color choices, too. The smallest one is quite large, so you will be able to use the bigger two even for big batches of bread dough. They stay put when you need to stir vigorously.
