I am in between sizr M and L. Based on my previous purchases from the Maidenformed shapewear I ordered XL because I did not want to have it overly tight and uncomfortable. I must say that this one has compression only in front and sides around the stomach area, so I probably would still fit in L. I am keeping mine because it is quite comfortable and have enough compression for my needs. It is also very pretty. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I find it a bit too long for me ( I am 5'5), and because of it makes creases.     • There is very little compression on lower stomach
I am short-5ft 160lbs and the body of this seems short. I can't imagine it on a tall person. Also there is not any real compression on the lower stomach. I have a B belly (if you know you know) and it does not hold me in on the bottom at all. I am going to keep it because its comfortable enough to throw on but if you are looking for real shaping this is not the bodysuit for you.     • Fit is way smaller than normal.

This would be nice if it fit. The fit runs small, as I got the size I normally would, and can't wear it. I know it should be tight, but this is not sized as expected. If you get it, I'd size up at least 1, if not 2 sizes. Other than sizing, it's good shape wear.
