When looking for a mixing bowl, pay attention to the description and functions. I didn't realize that I purchased the stainless steel "hammered" bowl. After crying for days because the original glass bowl that had belonged to my dear mother in law cracked and broke one day, I came upon this. I needed something and hated that the glass was so pricy. I wish this bowl wasn’t so narrow. It’s difficult to get a spatula down in there if the beater is down in the bowl. The textured style Is really pretty and I’ve had compliments on it. Not sure if I ordered the wrong bowl or an error was made in shipping but not a deal breaker. I wound up with the stainless steel “hammered” (dimpled) replacement. Attractive and functions well. Could only give Ease of Cleaning 3 stars because the divots made by hammering the pattern tend to catch dough and batter as the inside surface isn’t smooth ... show more
