The 16oz size is perfect for a smoothie in the morning and you can just take it with you ! The battery lasts over a week (I use it once a day) if you use frozen fruit like I do you may want to pour everything you want in there and let it sit for a 15 mins and then blend, I’ve found this to be helpful. Crushed ice is also better than the cubes unless they’re the small bullet ice cubes. ... show more

I know KitchenAid doesn't sell garbage appliances. It's AMAZON that sells Used Damaged Products, advertised as New. My sister threw away the box, so i can't return it, cuz they'll use that as an excuse... This is an amazing product, just buy it from like Target, Bestbuy, etc. I strongly believe people use and abuse products for 29 days & return it on the 30th. Initially I was not thrilled but after using this for 5 months I'm very happy with the purchase. Best benefit of this blender for me is the cordless feature. Easy to store and pull out every day and the battery charges fast. I have not used other smoothie blenders so nothing to compare this to. It mixes well when you follow the instructions on the order of adding items to the cup - for mine I am adding first frozen fruit, then I do any powder or seeds, then I add yogurt, then my greens, then pour liquid last. Agree with the reviewers that say the top can initially be tricky, just make sure you tighten it well. I have other cordless kitchen aid appliances which was also a reason for butying = So maybe their are others that work as well or better but my experience with this one as been good after the learning curve. This little battery operates mixer works well. Battery is a. little heavy but has great power. Use on outings and can handle ice and frozen fruit with no problems. Make sure you add items as indicated for drink Update still going strong.
