It didn’t take me long to pick out my kitchen bowls, because when I spotted KitchenAid, I knew they would be the best for me! I’ve been using these for the past year and I really enjoy baking more because of the easy cleanup. The handle and the pouring spout are very convenient.

A lot of people gave negative reviews saying that the bowls were small. Well they they. The pictures are very deceptive. However, the description clearly shows that they are 1, 2, 3 and 4 cup sizes and they are. I measured them using uncooked dry rice and they actually hold more than listed. The 4 cup held 5 cups. The 3 cup held 4 cups. The 2 cup held 3 cups and the 1 cup held about 1.5 cups. So I can't give a negative review for a true and accurate product description that I failed to pay attention to. Unfortunately, I have no use for the bowls because they are too small for my needs. Any left over food that small I would just eat or throw out rather than store in a small bowl. But again, my fault for going by the picture instead of reading the description. ... show more

These bowls are made very well! They are hard plastic and I grab them to mix any and everything. The prep bowls come in handy more often than not. I am a baker so I measure ingredients in the prep bowls. I love that they have lids for the prep bowls as well! The one thing I would change is to put more of a handle on the mixing bowls but I realized why they didn’t, you probably wouldn’t be able to stack them. I own almost everything Kitchen Aide makes and this is a bonus. Be careful to not drop them, they are hard plastic and could break. I recommend handwashing so the logo won’t come off.
