The shelf itself works perfectly fine. My oven has a flat ridge and it sits comfortably on it, however keep in mind your ovens design and surroundings. Although flat my oven light switch is on the left on top, and there is an outlet on the right side, meaning the shelf is unable to be fully extended. It still looks good, though. More importantly though, my oven has a vent right below the back ledge (on the range). When the oven is on, hot air blows directly up to the shelf. I had a cookbook I was resting on it warp slightly due to the heat, and I’m now sure to not put anything heat sensitive on the shelf. This is a fault of my ovens design though, not the shelf.

Works great for my stove. I really like I can use the top part now without worrying about things falling behind the stove. The magnets that come with it aren't really all that strong but the shelf itself is stable as is.

Bought to close the Gap between stove and wall having lost a favorite spoon rest to the dark abyss behind there. Perfect, magnets hold super well to my stove. I love it! Slight bump where two shelf pieces meet so just changed magnet positions to nearer middle, issue solved! Super cute and a bargain price too!
