It does a great job of grinding my buds to the desired consistency by only engaging the grinder for 1 second at a time, which results in a more pleasant smoking experience. Grinding too long can make it too fine to get good airflow if you're rolling jays. The photo shows dried flowers ground with the Cool Knight Herb Grinder. The jars aren't included. I only wish it had a longer cord, as I don't really use this on a kitchen counter.

Works Great, Does Exactly What I Wanted It To Do. Love that it's stainless steel. Used it to grind cannabis and it doesn't get sticky or gunky. Would recommend paying close attention to the grinding because if you grind too long it will turn the flower into a fine dust.

I only use this to grind my cannabis flowers. I will NEVER hand grand again! This thing is awesome. I just make sure to 'pulse' it to get my desired results. If you hold down to long....it gets too powdery for my taste. It works great!

UPDATE: This thing is so annoying to work with, and incredibly noisy. After 4 days of use it doesn't even work half the time when plugged in. Just spend a little more money, don't do what I did and try to be cheap. You're gonna just buy another grinder that's better later. --- ORIGINAL: I bought it to replace a lost hand grinder. I use this to grind legal herbs, you know the ones. It works fine for that, easy to use, not too big a pain to clean if you stay on it after each use. Grinds things up well and consistently. It's a 3 because of two things: 1) The noise level is not great. I expected some noise, but this thing sounds like if you took a vacuum cleaner and set the volume at 50% - so still pretty loud. If I lived alone in a house I wouldn't care but I live in an apartment with people around, and this thing can definitely be heard through the walls whenever I use it. So the problem now is that if I want to do an early morning or late-night session, I still have to grind/cut by hand so I don't disturb my neighbors. If it's past midnight, doing even a ten second grind on this thing is liable to get a pound on my wall or door. So if you need something quiet and discreet, this ain't it. 2) Speaking of late night sessions, I forgot to put the pollen catcher on ONCE before grinding and it was a complete and total disaster. Without that pollen catcher the ground herbs will fly up and out of the container and get stuck in the outer rim between the cover and the metal inner part, and also spill out all around the grinder. It's completely insane that they made it this way. If you buy it just come to terms with the fact that you will eventually forget to put pollen catcher cap on for one of the times you use it and will have to deal with a similar mess. TLDR: it's fine, it does its job, but I wouldn't buy it again. If you don't care about noise level and believe you have the mental fortitude to never, ever forget to put the pollen catcher on before you start grinding, go for it. You get what you pay for.
