We never seem to have enough kitchen shears and if you cook a lot then you need a few pairs. It's hard in this day and age finding good quality items on Amazon because you can't hold them in your paw and check the quality for yourself. That makes reading reviews and doing research a must when it comes to buying everyday use items like this. After using these daily for a while now I am very happy with these shears. I got two pairs, a blue and black one and I use the colors to designate one for meats and one for veggies. These shears are very well made and holding up great to everyday use. They feel like they have some weight to them as well and feel solid in your hands. They are easy to clean and come with a protective sheath for the blades. Not sure how I lose kitchen scissors, but these are great, inexpensive replacements! The sheath is a nice addition since I store these in that one junk drawer we all have in our kitchens. (You know the one you root around in bare handed in the dark hoping not to contract tetanus!)
