I got these in an XL in the light blue color and while the fit was good the color looked super cheap and just not good. The shorts were very stretchy and maybe a tad loose (but I like my jean shorts on the looser side) but the light blue color just looked bad. Ended up returning. The shorts themselves were fine but I wouldn’t recommend the light blue color.

I wear a size 12-14. I ordered the XL and they’re perfect. No disrespect to old people, but these shorts have a very distinct smell. I’ve washed them once and still get a whiff of something and wonder what stinks. And then remember, it’s the shorts. The comfort is so great that I’m not going to get rid of them, but I’m going to hope that continual washing gets rid of the smell. I suspect the smell might be some sort of a wrinkle resistant treatment.

The shorts are super cute and comfortable and I really appreciate the length because no cheek hangs out the back. But what the heck is that smell? When they arrived I opened the package and was hit with a very strong chemical odor and immediately threw them in the washer. The smell was still there. They have been washed 3 times now and the chemical smell is still just as strong. Would not recommend buying.
