I absolutely love the case. I'm guessing some of the reviewers bought the wrong size (probably for their 8 inch Galaxy Tab) and wrote a bad review about it. The sound buttons do seem a bit hard to push on, but that's a minor problem. The screen comes in a blue protective sheet; peel it off and don't make the mistake I did to almost tear it off. (I left an unfortunate mark on the screen protector due to my ignorance.) However, the screen protector does have a bit of a funny glare and is a bit tacky, but it does just fine as I'm using the OTG option to type and click on things with my keyboard and mouse.

I’m a field nurse and use my tablet 10 hours a day. I bought this product to protect my tablet for work. Bright color so I’d never never forget it behind at a Doctors office or patients home.Because of my busy schedule I would occasionally drop or bump my tablet (no damage) with not a thought of it’s real strength. One day I placed my tablet on my car and drove away. This case saved my tablet from damage when it flew off the top of my car and landed in traffic. I couldn’t be more grateful for my purchase then I was at that moment. Not a scratch on my tablet. Thanks God no car ran it over! This is my second purchase. I couldn’t emphasize enough how important it is to have this protection. Thank you again you’re a lifesaver.

Though touted for the Samsung Tab E, it was poorly designed for that tablet. The power button and volume buttons do not properly sit on the tablet's corresponding buttons and therefore one mys play with them to get the thing to turn on and off, or to raise and lower the volume. It did protect my tablet from a three foot fall onto a tile floor but is a real pain when it comes to thed above button arrangement.After looking at teh case, it appears the problem is in the hard frame around the computer which causes the buttons to angle off when pushed and miss, or slip off, the tablet's buttons. A resolution to this would improve it a lot. The second issue is the stand.. The TAB-E is oriented in a portrate fassion while the stand only allows you to use it in the landscape mode. Many of the apps I use do not operate in the landscape mode. This means I am not able to use the built in stand for much of what I use the tablet for. After breaking my upper arm, I discovered that this can be a problem.

I'm 63 years old and am a retired nuclear engineer. I appreciate a well thought out design . I also appreciate a bargain without material compromise ! This tablet protector meets both of my requirements ! $25.00 ? I would have paid $50.00 for this quality case ! Nice soft silicone and well formed hard plastic frames. Don't forget to REMOVE the blue slightly tinted protective film AND the little camera lens protective film !!!!! The less you disassemble these cases the better . It took 5 minutes for installation of my tablet. I don't understand negative comments on this product ?!? TAKE YOUR TIME, REVIEW AND BE IN THE MOOD TO INSTALL YOUR TABLET !!! I fall else fails ,get a 7 year old to do it for you ! I received my item, undamaged, in a standard bubble wrapped envelope. No instructions were included, BUT they are POSTED on the product WEB PAGE, DuH !

This case fit the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 perfectly. Installing the case was easy and straight forward, took about 1 minute. The durability is very high and I suspect this case will last the life of the tablet. It is not overly bulky or obtrusive when using the tablet, highly recommend. The included plastic glass cover was not used. I attempted to place it on the glass but could not get all the air bubbles out and decided to abandon the attempt. It was a nice addition to the package but I would probably go with a different product for the glass protection if any was needed.
