Shopped long and hard looking for a low-profile storage shed to house my generator. All the parts and hardware were clearly marked and the install instructions were great. Assembly was very easy but I could have used a second person when installing the roof. The tilt-up roof and wide double barn doors allowed me to maneuver the heavy generator into the shed with ease. The floor was extremely sturdy and did not even flex under the weight of the generator. I even had additional space to store my pressure cleaner and propane tanks! (We haven't had any south Florida rainstorms yet so I cannot confirm the weatherproofing but I'm confident by the design it will be fine.) The only note of caution would be this is not a high-security shed. It is plastic and although it has a space for a lock, it could be compromised fairly easily. This is a great storage unit - easy to assemble, sturdy, lots of space for the lawnmower, weeder, rake, shovels and other outdoor tools, with a clever prop for the lid to free up your hands. So definitely don’t take what I’m about to say as being a criticism of the manufacturer or the people responsible for shipping and delivery - it is ENTIRELY a criticism of Amazon: when I ordered this shed, Amazon promised a delivery within two to three days of ordering. That is the primary reason I ordered it, I needed it fast. What I did not know and what Amazon did not say was that the merchant shipping me the shed used FedEx ground shipping and was located in California. I live in Martinsburg, WV. There wasn’t a chance in hell that that shed was going to get to me in 2 to 3 days. Three days later, Amazon showed an expected delivery date for that same day, but on FedEx’s tracking site it showed the package had JUST been picked up in California. It took another 6 days to arrive at my house. It wasn’t until day 5 that Amazon changed the delivery description for this item to “seller usually ships within 6 to 10 days.” Had that been the original projection I would have purchased a different shed. ... show more

The part number for every part from panels, to latches, to screws, are clearly labelled. The part numbers for the panel are consecutive for example the left rear panel ends in 2 and the right in 3, the left side panel ends in 4 and the right in 5. This helps during assembly. Where panels are screwed together, the flat head bolt is barely larger than the imperfectly round holes in the panels but the screws don't add much to the integrity of the unit: the bottoms of the rear and side panels have tabs that lock into the floor and the roof hinges keep the tops of the rear panels in place. I wanted to add a washer under the flat head bolt that had a larger diameter than the bolt but the hole for the bolt is recessed and the holes are not perfectly centered over the nut in the overlapped edge. So adding a washer to increase the bolt head size isn't possible. I don't expect any stresses parallel to the bolts in useage will pull the bolt heads through the holes. I assembled the unit alone in about an hour or two taking my time. Adding the final screw felt good. By the way, the latches will not prevent a determined thief from opening the storage cabinet: they are screwed into plastic with small M4x10 screws. ... show more

I had a handyman put 2 different plastic shed products together. One was unbelievably difficult and not aligned . this one was simple to put together? All parts were there.undamaged. I will purchase this particular product multiple more times

Haven’t had this shed long, but so far so good. It was simple to assemble, I love that! Did it myself with no problems. It seems sturdy. Very roomy. I’m using mine to store woodworking tools for an outside workshop. I bought boards for DIY shelves. I did that rather than order the add on shelves for two reasons. I read the shelves you can order separately, (this shed comes with none), are metal. I was afraid they would be to flimsy to hold heavy power tools. Secondly, the add on shelves are about $50.00 each, I need two. I thought making my own would be less expensive. They were but only by $25.00. Not a huge savings for the trouble, personal choice. I’m happy with this purchase as long as it stays dry inside and sturdy. ... show more

The Positives: 1) Pretty robust materials, including hinges and latches which are well made and should be durable. 2) The instructions and Part Numbering are both superb! They couldn't be clearer! One person should be able to get 95% of this together in 1.5- 2 hours. A second person is needed to help attach the cover to the unit. 3) It looks nice and can easily contain 4 garbage cans (with two inside of two). The latches line up pretty well and it opens easily. The foot "lock" feature seems to work well also! The Negatives: 1) It takes a few weeks to ship and they don't tell you ahead of time that it comes in two separate packages. My second package ended up coming 3- 4 days later. Final Analysis: This is a nice little shed that fits together well and is easy to assemble. I didn't rate it for weatherproof as it's been in the 90's where I live on Long Island. I'll update if there are problems in the winter. In the end, this is exactly what I was hoping it would be and am very happy with it! ... show more
