This pourover set is absolutely beautiful. I would suggest getting a coffee sock, though, and using both the coffee sock and metal filter when making coffee. I found the draw down times and amount of sediment left in my cup was not suitable for my tastes. I used a single cup metal filter before this and did not have issues with sediment in my cup, but with this metal filter, there was quite a bit of sediment. I purchased this item as a gift for my husband. After a month of use the filter has broken even though it was only washed by hand. It is not made well for the price. I contacted Kinto for a replacement piece and was told they only sell this product as a set and that Amazon is not an authorized retailer. I bought a couple other pour over kits like this to compare them side by side (was testing to put into hotel rooms) and this one is by far the nicest and best. Pour slowly in a circle, like you are supposed to, and the filter size works great. No need for additional paper filter unlike other ones that claim they work but let the water out too quick.
