Loved my first Kini so much I bought 3 more from Kinisium directly! I’m an avid firearm, user/collector, so I have several places to protect; my main safe, my ammo safe, my beside safe, etc. While I have a robust security posture to ensure that once my daughter is able to walk and talk, she won’t be able to access my firearms. My main safe has two different factors of security as it is! My point is, I wanted something more, something for the what-if! That’s where the Kini motion sensors come in. From the initial setup, to installation, and day to day operation, the sensor and process is superior quality. The process to set up the device is well documented and simple. The sensor is accurate, reliable, and I don’t have to worry about not getting an alert. I have had no false positives whatsoever! Any time I go into my safe I get the alert as soon as the door opens! I work in cyber security by day, so I’m definitely a bit paranoid when it comes to digital and physical security, and this product puts my mind at ease knowing if someone, somehow accessed my safe, I would know! Already recommended to some friends and would absolutely recommend for you!

I was skeptical at first after seeing some of the negative reviews, but after using Kini for a couple of months, I can confidently say it does exactly what it promises. This is NOT a camera, and it’s not meant to be—it’s a motion sensor that alerts you the moment something moves. For my needs, that’s perfect. I don’t want a camera constantly recording or needing cloud storage; I just want an instant notification if something I care about has been accessed. Addressing Concerns: “Crappy?" No way. It’s compact, discreet, and built for function. It’s not a heavy metal device, but it doesn’t need to be. "Too many false positives"? Not in my experience. Sensitivity settings require some tweaking (like any motion sensor), but once dialed in, it’s very reliable. If you expect it to behave like a camera, you might misunderstand how it works. "No support"? That’s simply not true. The company has been incredibly responsive, answering questions, even on the weekend! Final Verdict: If you need instant alerts without the hassle of cameras, apps, or subscriptions, Kini is a solid choice. It’s affordable, effective, and fills a gap that other security products don’t.

Value for money...nope, get a camera. Quality...Janky, like a $2 piece of plastic with an accelerometer in it. Motion detection...DON'T GET ME STARTED! FALSE POSITIVES LIKE CRAZY! Sensitivity is either TOO HIGH or TOO LOW, I've tried so many combinations...absolutely terrible product. Rather get a Ring camera to install just in the side of a wall, not even a door. At least then I'd have some accuracy and FOOTAGE to back it up! SERIOUSLY...just save up and get a camera. Terrible TERRIBLE Product.

Works great. There are a few changes that I would make though. The body design should have a wider base. I have velcroed to my gun safe door, but I worry that it’s going to fall because it’s just a small piece of Velcro. If the base was wide and provided more surface area, I would have no concerns. It should have an audible alarm option to deter anyone who has triggered it. Otherwise this thing has been great!

Really cool product. I used to use a large brand item that I paid more than double for and it always malfunctioned. This one is really easy to setup and no ap or download required. It just alerts you as a text. Also comes with a nice charger so the battery won’t run out.

Very excited for my peace of mind. My house has very old crank windows from 1965. I wanted something to put on my children’s windows to give myself peace of mind. These windows do not have the safety features of new windows. I wanted something that would be sensitive enough for any movement to the window. I used Velcro for easy removal for charging. The instructions were very clear on set up on the packaging and during set up which is perfect for me. Very happy !
