Go get u one while this is available. ***UPDATE:*** Had it for 6 months now. Still works great. Plays all the game with no lagging. Even plays the Wii games. There were 2 consoles that the controller didn’t work on. But all u have to do is go in the settings and just map the buttons. It’s easy. If u have any questions, they will get back with u pretty fast with a how to video. There’s also videos on YouTube on how to map the buttons. IMPORTANT: READ THE SETUP GUIDE ON THE CONTROLLER BEFORE U PLAY IT. IT WILL HELP U TO SELECT THE CORRECT “MODE” FOR THE CONTOLLER. Is this thing perfect? No. But it’s pretty dam close to perfect. Very nice system. I am impressed. I had to set up the controls properly on a few systems and occasionally a game doesn't work. Otherwise, wow this is great. Maybe, 8/10 games work almost flawlessly. Ps2, psp, gamecube dreamcast are playable and enjoyable. I love the 3ds. Even a few of the Wii games play perfectly. For me, Gamecube has to be the biggest miss, but overall still works very well. Accross the console there are a few hiccups and stutters occasionally. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. The creator did an excellent job. It works better than other emulation devices i have purchased. This is the next level of plug and play emulation boxes. Perfect for those interested in late 90s to mid 2000s retro gaming.

I absolutely love this thing. So much to play that I spend more time looking than actually playing. A couple things that bother me. First is the controller specifically on PS2. Out of the box it just wouldn't work. Tons of people have also had this issue and I followed their steps with no luck. I even tried another 8Bitdo controller with no luck. But then out of nowhere the included controller started working. Not sure what I did to make it functional but I'm works fantastic now. As for games on PS2 like Juiced and Underground 2 drop as low as 9 fps and have wicked input lag making them completely unplayable. But games like San Andreas, Most Wanted, all the NASCAR games that I've tried, run flawless and dare I say even look better than they did on the PS2. So I don't know why some games work great but others don't? Maybe a setting? As for everything else I've tried like Ruby/Sapphire, FireRed, Emerald, Metroid Fusion and every other GBA game I've tried, this thing is perfect. N64 is perfect although some games controls are mapped really weird. Like Cruisn USA you have to hold in on the left joystick for gas and use it to steer, but yet Cruisn World uses the A button for gas. They're essentially the same game so I don't know why? But TLDR this thing is completely worth the money and I absolutely love it! Buy it. You won't be disappointed. EDIT/UPDATE: So I'm currently on Day 2 of ownership of this thing. The hard drive started doing some weird clicking, the system crashed, and now brings up a "No games found" error every time you try to use it. The system itself also goes back to the Android boot up screen every time it does this but that may just be a side effect of the HDD crashing. Not sure. Either way it's now unusable. Going to try and reach out to the seller because I want this thing to work. I was having a blast.

A lot of reviews for this mention broken controls, that is because the GameSir connects to the X5 in XBox360 controller mode, you need to set the controllers to Android mode before you use them. You need to be in Android mode for PS2, Dreamcast, and N64 emulators to work with the preset controls. Here is a better user guide to start using the X5- Controller- Android Mode- Unplug the controller(s) from their usb power cords Turn the controllers off- Hold Power(home/center) button for 5 seconds Hold A then press the Power button for 5 seconds to turn the controller back on The lights on the controller should be a Blue/Purple color now, you are in Android mode. Pairing multiple controllers- Follow procedure to put controllers into Android mode Wired- Then you can use the USB cords and the controllers will work Wireless- you need to plug in both USB dongles into the X5 and pair them with the controller Press the button on the dongle, then Hold X+Power on the controller The dongle and controller will flash in time with each other Repeat for each controller.

The media could not be loaded. The overall set up was really simple, even came with some really detailed instructions. It runs games graet at a solid 60fps on the consoles I've tested from SNES to GameCube to PS2 when they work. I seem to have an issue where when trying to start a gamecube game it seems to keep on backing out and not running. Restarting the system sometimes makes it so it will boot but ive only got it to work a handful of times. My biggest issue is with the controller however, some of the consoles don't seem to be working with the controller so you have to go into the emulators to remap them. Another issue I'm having is that my controller arrived damaged and I can not use the L1 button making the menu navigation difficult along with some games. Shipping took awhile but I'd say it was worth the wait. All in all I'm looking forward to sinking a bunch of time into this thing after I can figure out how to get GameCube working and getting another controller.
