Perhaps we should have installed this on the flat side of our fence. But our purpose was to block the dogs from seeing through the fence to the street. We felt the dogs could tear through the fence if it was on the inside, so we put it on the out over the wooden beams. That created an uneven lumpy look. That is our fault, not the product's. We also thought 25 feet would go further than it did. So, we did not get the street side completely covered. I am unsure if we will get more to finish the job or try something different. Manufactured very similar to other privacy screens, where material is tightly woven to allow wind through (almost resembling material similar to a sun shade). This beautiful green colored privacy fence does just as it advertises. It has a black sewn edge with gold-colored grommets. It easily installs in less than 30 minutes using zip ties (provided). I doubled mine over itself for 100 percent blockage as shown in the fourth photo. This screen is a huge asset for having privacy from neighbors and it helps keep dogs from barking since they can't see through it very well.
