I love to use a different body wash everyday for variety. But to test out how well this moisturizes, I have been using only it for about a week. It seems to work great in that regard, my lower legs are using visibly dry and scaly but not with using this. I'm itching less from dry skin and I think my skin feels soft. But like EVERY single bath product anymore, the scent is not strong enough and doesn't last. I personally think it's because companies are skimping on the fragrance oils etc. The mandarin orange one smells good in the shower, but not strong, and it's almost a more manly scent with sort of a spicy undertone. I wanted to try all 3 limited edition scents but the price point is kind of high for me right now. Although that being said, the bottle is HUGE and you don't need to use much to get a great lather. I normally am a 3-4 pump body wash gal, 2 is plenty for this. Update: I started out trying the orange scent because that's a pretty basic scent to nail down. I was most excited to try strawberry, and when I read reviews that said it was the best I went ahead and ordered it. Ummmm, no. In the bottle it smells really good, but I don't know if it's when it hits water or when it lathes up, but when I used it in the shower this morning, at first I thought "That's strange. I don't really smell much of anything." And then what I finally got was a very strong odor of almost a stale cigarette smoke smell. It's totally bizarre. This is for all my super dry people, whose skin feels tight the moment they step out of the shower. If your skin feels almost like it is getting little hairline cracks within minutes of towel drying this is for you: To be clear, this is a comparison of the “Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash” vs “Olay Body Wash with Hyaluronic Acid”. Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash: This is a lightly scented, thick, creamy body wash that provides a luxurious foam when used with a wash cloth or puff. It feels heavenly on the skin. It cleanses well without using too much product. One squirt is enough for the entire body. It rinses off easily, leaving the skin feeling smooth and soft, but not greasy or too filmy. Once the skin is towel dried though you need to apply a cream or moisturizer immediately, otherwise the skin starts to get that dreaded dry/cracked feeling. The scent is fresh, fairly light and unisex. I have extremely dry skin and I have used this product successfully for close to 10 years. Olay Body Wash with Hyaluronic Acid: This is a lighter, creamy body wash. I find that I need a little more than Dove to wash my entire body…about 1.5 pumps. It cleanses well but is not as creamy and luxurious feeling as Dove. Where it shines though is the feeling after the shower. Upon towel drying I do not feel the urgency to reach for a lotion or cream immediately. I still do because I know my skin and its needs well, but the urgency is not there. Overall it is more hydrating than Dove. The secret ingredient here may be the hyaluronic acid. I have used this product for the last two or so months while seeking more hydration. So far I like it for that. If I could change one thing about it it would be the amount of fragrance it contains. While the scent is fresh and pretty feminine, it is fairly strong; strong enough that when I walk into the shower 24 hours later, I can still smell it. If it contained 50-75% of the current scent it would be perfect. What moisturizing body lotion/cream do I use after I shower? Either “Eucerin Advanced Repair Lotion” for very dry skin (it has urea as the third ingredient) or “CeraVe Moisturizing Cream” the one that comes in a big tub, sometimes with a pump. I mix either product with the “Acacia Well Body” body oil. I have written a comparison review for both products. You can’t go wrong with either. ... show more
