I am happy. I admittedly bought these for the esthetics. They feel lightweight and not the best quality but not bad either, they are perfectly acceptable for the price. I might be a bit picky because I used to work as a cook. They are comfortable in my hand (I have a medium size hand with long fingers). They are reasonably sharp, and are easy to sharpen. I like that there is no seam between the handle and blade adding to their comfort and making them easy to clean by hand as I don't put my knives in the dishwasher. There are really only 2 things I'll gripe about, I wish the set came with a honing steel, I'd take that over the little sharpener they have on top, and I wish the scissors came apart for cleaning. The scissors are nice and heavy duty though.

Love these knives. Love them. They’re sharp, lightweight (although maybe a tad too much so?), and I’ll say what we’re all thinking here: the stand is BEAUTIFUL! I get compliments on it from everyone who steps foot in my kitchen. Gorgeous. BUT I don’t think it will be forever so. You have to slide the knives into two different holes, and this can cause chips in the wood of the beautiful stand. That is a problem over time (especially when the knives themselves dig into the wood with the blade) but… it is a fun splurge.
