Motherboard auto detected speed, works fast and very customizable in color styles and patterns. Would have received 5 stars, but the application is buggy (crashed a few times on me). It is also not clear on use (need to click a few steps to get pattern, then write the settings for use next time).

Kingston is a good name in RAM, and these aren't much more expensive than traditional sicks. The problem is the software for the light control is just garbage and doesn't work. Without the software, the lights get out of sync and you can't adjust the brightness at all. I just can't recommend these until the software gets fixed. ... show more

    • Will not run at 5600MT/s without generating tons of errors in Memtest

I have 4 of these 32GB modules (bought two 2 x 32GB kits) installed in a ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero board with a Intel Core i9-13900k processor and when trying to use the XMP settings the whole system is unstable and crashes several times per day. I ran the onboard MEMTEST86 @5600MT/s and the memory generated over 1000 errors in 5 minutes. If I turn off XMP and run the memory at 4800MT/s, it produces no errors and passes. I bought the memory to run at 5600MT/s but it just won't on this board. I am considering returning it and looking at another brand. Note, Asus has stated that this is compatible RAM with my board. ... show more

This does not work with Asus aura, it simply does not sync with the rest of the RGB. Very disappointing :(. I have tried uninstalling & re-installing all aura sync software and followed other guide but nothing seems to work. This is super unfortunate.

Unless you want crazy RGB "bells & whistles" this is a 4800 memory DDR5 to use. We always install a base (4800) natively compatible in our builds to avoid an overclocking non-compatibility. We then let our customers do their own overclocking as they like. Most other speed memory is overclocked at the factory so you never know what you are going to get. We prefer to err on the side of basics. This base memory will serve you well and its selling at a reasonable price now - anyway as of July 2022. ... show more

Bought four sticks. Two outright giving errors in memtest. Computer won't POST unless I run the other two way under-spec. Slotted in some other RAM of same spec and it worked fine. Been a while since I've been so furious with a purchase. Will be returning it all.
