Its Plug N Play automatic overclocking at speeds of 2666MHz¹ is available on Intel XMP and Ryzen. The FURY Beast DDR4 module stays cool thanks to its sleek and slim heat diffuser. 100% tested and guaranteed for life, this upgrade is very easy and hassle-free for your Intel or AMD system. Some Intel chipsets/processors prior to the 8th generation have not been updated and do not support 16Gb DDR4 DRAM memory modules. Check with the system or motherboard manufacturer to see if the BIOS has been updated to support 16Gbit DRAM modules.¹ FURY Plug N Play memory works in DDR4 systems up to the speed allowed by the manufacturer's system BIOS. PnP cannot increase memory speed beyond the limit set in the manufacturer's BIOS. FURY Plug N Play DDR4 products support XMP 2.0 specifications. I ordered this to have dual channel on my Asus Prime B450M-A II board. For some reason now the board does not accept any RAM on the channel B. So I guess the board is defective. It accepts however any RAM sticks in any of the 2 slots of channel A. I have one of 16 GB in slot 2 and this one of 8 GB in slot 1 - both slots are channel A - channel B does not accept any RAM for some reason not even Asus knows. This RAM stick works as advertised - my Motherboard however seems to be defective or anything in that line. At least the RAM works flawless in any slot of channel A. However I do not get CL15 or the like but rather kind of 18-20-20-20 or something having it put manually at 3000 MT/s. I have not had any trouble with this RAM whatsoever and I have it in use now for a few months. Stay away from these B450 Asus Motherboards - Asus even admited to me these are known to have RAM slots defects from factory. I do not buy anymore Asus Motherboards but rather only MSi boards. ... show more

From 16 to 32 GB. If I could, I would have taken it to 128 GB on my gaming rig, but did not want to look too cocky for something I use for VR only.

The ram is a great deal and well worth the money but I had some trouble getting the speeds I wanted. Out of the box I was only able to get 2400mhz when I wanted to get at least 2666mhz and optimally 3200mhz. It could just be a problem with my computer but I will update if I can get the speed up. I got the 2x16gb version straight from the maker at 3733. It is compatible with HP omen 45L desktop. Hp use hyperX rage. I couldn't find any hyperx so i found kingston. Guess hyperX is made by kingston, they look exactly the same except the naming. Anyways the Omen 45l is default at 2600, but if you go into the bios it can be OC to 3733. The Omen gaming hub intel test didn't show much differences between the 2 clock speed. Since I don't need to OC all the time I set it to default 2600 or something like that. RGB looks good, only rgb I like better is the ice crystal from trident. Doesn't matter it works on my computer fine and i am happy for it. ... show more

Out the box ran 2200MHz due to new motherboard and default limitation. Able to OC to 2666MHz. Perfectly acceptable for what I do on my PC. I play the following games: WoW Apex Battlefront & other games that aren’t significant in size enough to affect the performance of any modern PC. I personally like it because I do not care for RGB. Edit: To clarify; it was running 2666 due to that being the max the mobo can push. Running it on the Z490 it was 3200 right away. ... show more
