  • Favorite filament by far.
Color: White
I have been 3D printing for over 10 years, and have run print farms for universities, and small businesses, as well as personal projects. This is among the best filaments I have used, and that's not even considering the price which is an absolute bargain! I own 9 FDM 3D printers (2x Prusa MK3S+, 4x Ender 3 Pro, 1x Ender CR-6 SE, 1x Voxel lab Aquila, 1 Ender 3 Max), and I have this filament loaded by default on all of them. On the Ender: @ 0.12 layer height w/ top layer ironing: 205-195 C yields very good results with minimal stringing. @ 0.3 layer height: 215-205 C for drafts/stuff I need asap On the mk3: @ 0.15: 210-195 C @ 50mm/s @ 0.30: 215-205 C @ 45mm/s Filament clearing is also very easy. For Direct drive, I recommend heating to 230 and let cool while lightly pushing the filament. Once it reaches 60 C pull hard and it has consistently preformed perfect cold pulls for minor nozzle clogs/buildups. I would still recommend feeding cleaner filament if switching TO a higher temp filament, or a nylon cold pull if switching FROM a higher temp filament. If I could order more than 1 at a time, I would probably buy at least 10 in one go. ... show more

  • Good filament for fairly cheap.
Color: White
This has actually become my go to filament lately. I've gotten 6 or 7 rolls of it. It flows well(I run it out at about 220 with a .4 nozzle) and the diameter is relatively consistent meaning no big problems with jamming or flow control. And it's comparatively cheap, which is why I started using it to begin with. And they've never sent me a spool that was brittle or had a broken seal, which is u usual since qc doesn't seem to matter much to a lot of filament producers. So yeah, I like it ok and will continue to purchase. ... show more

  • general review
Color: Black
I love this stuff. So much that I have made two more purchases, a note on the black. It has a slight greenish tinge to it, that my old black did not have, I noticed this because I changed spools mid print. so I can see the color change. The other thing I noticed is that there are spider web fine stringing that the old filament did not produce with the same settings... Absolutely not a problem, it is easily removed by running a lighter flame over the print quickly. Once I figured out to lower the temperature down to 55 on the bed, I have perfect bed adhesion. In fact it it a little hard to just pull my prints off of the bed. I have a metal flexible print bed so this is not a problem either. I am very happy with this product ... show more

  • Jam-o-matic, or so I thought...?
Color: Black
About 60% of the time, this will print like any other filament. But sometimes when you're about to finish a print, this will cause a clog and kill the entire print. I have printed with other filaments just fine and had to switch to a bigger name to finish a big project. I thought I learned my lesson when it came to buying cheaper filaments for projects but apparently not. For super small things, this might work. But if you have a direct drive printer and don't particularly enjoy disassembling the entire extruder assembly next to the hotend every other print, maybe go with something else. I have tried many things like disabling retraction, higher and lower temps, and printing much slower; none of these things made any difference, or only slightly delayed the inevitable. Outside of big projects, I'm always on the lookout for cheap but good filaments, but this one isn't it, at least not the batch I got. EDIT: There is a chance that my extruder motor voltage was just set too high, causing it to get so hot it started melting the PLA right before it went into the hotend. I will be experimenting with this and will update this review. However, that still doesn't take away the fact that name brand stuff didn't do this on me. ... show more

  • Great budget PLA filament!
Color: Grey
Very much a good load and print filament, as is for mostly all standard PLA filaments. No stringing, no weird bubbles or issues in the roll of filament, pretty consistent thickness in the filament line, and just overall great for the price. Snagged a few rolls for under $15 and will definitely grab more. ... show more

  • It’s not true black, but it prints well
Color: Black
This filament printed just as well as any other I have used. No qualms there. As others have said, the black isn’t very black. I had a print that started with Sunlu black and switched to this mid-way through. It’s a noticeable difference. I’d almost describe it as a dark gunmetal gray.

  • More Than Just Cheap Filament
Color: Blue
This filament is a phenomenal value. I've used five rolls of this stuff on four different printers and so far each one has been flawless. The blue is my absolute favorite, the color is just amazing. You will not find a better deal on high quality low cost filament than this.

  • Nothing Remarkable Good or Bad
Color: White
This review is for white Kingroon PLA 3D Printer Filament only. This is an acceptable product at the price point. Nothing particularly good or bad stands out. The treasure chest on the right was painted with Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover in Kona Brown Gloss. We are not done finishing the boxes. If our efforts payout, I will post additional pictures in the near future. ... show more
