This KingChii 12 Bottles Thermoelectric Wine Cooler Refrigerator Cooling Technology, Tempered Glass for Champagne was a delightful find in my Vine recommendations! I've not had a wine chiller at my current home, and have been drinking fridge-temp wine for a while. Nice to have a dedicated unit to keep the boring old chardonnay and better wines at just the right temp (and keep the corks moist without taking up all my fridge real estate). The unit is quiet and seems to work efficiently. Unlike the mini-fridge I had a few years back, it doesn't seem to spike the electric bill quite as badly, which I think is due to the better technology involved here. Small footprint with big payoff, too. I'm thrilled to have my good bottles ready to open and at the right temp. Good investment and works as well as the super high-end wine fridge I had at my last home. Was a really great find!

I can't believe how much I love it! As summer comes upon us, I generally change to chilled wine, but like most people, the main fridge is just not conducive to storing wine, particularly when one buys 10-12 bottles per store run just to limit the errand running. This cooler is perfectly sized for my normal orders, and would work even if there was a gathering and I needed to buy extra. In addition, it fits in the small space I had left in my kitchen just perfectly. It is almost *too* elegant looking for my kitchen...the soft glow of the light is beautiful. So far, the temp control is working perfectly...I hope the longevity on this unit is as great as the design!

I have the 12 bottle variant. Wish I'd gotten a bigger one, as I have plenty of space. Been working fantastic so far, not much else to say! Being thermoelectric - this unit does not operate on the same principle as your regular refrigerator. Rather than using a mechanical pump/compressor and gaseous refrigerant, it used computer chips (basically). The result is silent operation, with the downside of it not being capable of reaching as low a temperature as your regular fridge. But it achieves mid 40s (Fahrenheit) and does it silently.

We needed an extra space for our chilled wine and beer. Yes, beer (tall cans). Once we plugged in, it did not take long for it to reach temperature of 46 degrees (lowest temperature). It is very quiet- in fact I do not hear at all. Cooler itself is very slim and compact. Door is easy to open and close and racks easily slide out. You have the option to use light feature, although we do not. Overall, great product for the price and you just really plug, chill and enjoy!

I am not a huge wine drinker but this thermoelectric wine cooler has made me feel like I have a fancy wine collection. It is very easy to use just plug it in and it cools to the recommended temperature for wine. It also looks so nice in my kitchen I have gotten many compliments on the style of this.
