UPDATE: 4/19/2025 I have now owned my wine cooler for 8 months: The temperature of both levels is rock steady; checked with 2 x NIST certificated thermometers/hydrometers.. It is under my counter, enclosed on 3 sides, and every morning I look at the LED display to see if it is working. Why: It is absolutely silent; my work desk is about 10 ft away and I have never hears it may any noise – it is completely silent, WOW… My cooler and I had a troubled start, KingCii took care of all my problems without making the process long or complex; and I am left with a wine cooler that I could not be happier about, its WONDERFUL !!! Not that products from other companies have good customer service; but finally found a company in China that has great support. I went through 3 KingChii wine coolers because of various problems. 1st was a single zone and I only have red wine. The top shelf temp was too different from temp on bottom rack. 2nd – severely damaged in shipping, including the door fell off when I removed packing tape. 3rd – the keeper During all phases, I was in constant contact with their customer support team. King Chii always responded, offered suggestion and though very unhappy about unpacking and repacking to send them back – they were always helpful. After all the work and hoops “Amazon”, not Kink Cii put me through to get rejects picked up and delivered directly into my condo – All is good. I also have to say, though I spent hours emailing and talking to Amazon – they did make the special pickup and delivery arrangements I asked for, I waited about 2 months before writing this review to make sure the Wine cooler works; it does, flawlessly and with no noise. The first cooler I bought, from a different company, to replace my 22 year old dead cooler made the most horrible sounds- which the mfg considered “normal”. Using an Amazon purchased certified thermometer/hygrometer, the two zone replacement keeps all bottles at the right temp. This story ends with my being very happy with the company's customer service and product. A combination not often founds. So, I recommend both their product & their customer support. I already own two desktop cooling humidors and one of their wineadors, all of which have exceeded my expectations, so I had high hopes for this cooler as well. Quality & Build: First off, the quality is fantastic! For the price point, this cooler easily competes with big-name brands like Wynther and Newair. It’s incredibly lightweight — my 12-year-old was able to lift the box and help me unbox it without a problem. Performance: I plugged in the cooler and it reached its set temperature in just a couple of hours. I set the temperature to the lowest, 46°F, and it went all the way up to 64°F at its highest setting. There’s plenty of space for all 6 bottles, and the design ensures you can pull them out without them banging into each other. Best Feature - The LIGHT: Now, let’s talk about the lighting — hands down the best I’ve seen on any wine cooler. Most companies place a couple of weak LED bulbs in the middle of the cooler, but KingChii placed the light towards the front and added extra bulbs. This results in a super bright, evenly lit interior, making it easy to see and display your bottles. Final Thoughts: All in all, this is an excellent product, and I highly recommend picking up the KingChii wine cooler if you’re in the market. If you’re someone who regularly stores more than 6 bottles, though, you might want to consider a larger capacity model.

We'd been looking to improve our wine storage solution (previously in 3 separate fridges!) and selected the KingChii 45 bottle single zone fridge. Although there was a delay before shipment (I'd guess it was due to the holiday period, so they get a pass) it was delivered exactly as scheduled, with no issues. Opening was as simple as removing the plastic straps and lifting the box up and over the top. Wheels on the back of the fridge makes it easy to move and there are leveling feet at the front. Initial operation had it cool down quickly, but the sides were quite warm to the touch. Ongoing operation sees the set temperature being maintained with infrequent cooling which is fairly quiet. (Not quite "whisper" quiet, but not intrusive when seated across the room watching tv.) The sides are barely warm to the touch now that the compressor isn't working as hard as on the initial cool-down. We have a lot of sparkling wine and found that the middle shelf in a set of 3 could be turned upside down (so it has a 5-4-5 shelf configuration rather than 5-5-5) and the resulting offset allowed just a little bit more room to get the larger bottles to fit better. Not perfect, as it reduces the storage capacity, but workable. The only (minor) annoyance is that the pictures show bottles being stored at the bottom of the fridge at an angle, but note there is no rack or support for this and they are just being balanced against the back edge. However, the wire frame at the front is quite solid and bottles can be safely stored lying on their side across-ways. I don't regard this as enough to dock a full point. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase and our bubbly is now all happy being stored in a single location. Cheers!

This wine fridge works great. It was whisper quiet the first month, but has since developed a noticeable buzz during the cooling phase of the compressor. It only lasts 10-15 seconds probably every 30 minutes, and is only noticeable if the tv is off. Our wine fridge is also in the living room 10 feet away.
