We'd been looking to improve our wine storage solution (previously in 3 separate fridges!) and selected the KingChii 45 bottle single zone fridge. Although there was a delay before shipment (I'd guess it was due to the holiday period, so they get a pass) it was delivered exactly as scheduled, with no issues. Opening was as simple as removing the plastic straps and lifting the box up and over the top. Wheels on the back of the fridge makes it easy to move and there are leveling feet at the front. Initial operation had it cool down quickly, but the sides were quite warm to the touch. Ongoing operation sees the set temperature being maintained with infrequent cooling which is fairly quiet. (Not quite "whisper" quiet, but not intrusive when seated across the room watching tv.) The sides are barely warm to the touch now that the compressor isn't working as hard as on the initial cool-down. We have a lot of sparkling wine and found that the middle shelf in a set of 3 could be turned upside down (so it has a 5-4-5 shelf configuration rather than 5-5-5) and the resulting offset allowed just a little bit more room to get the larger bottles to fit better. Not perfect, as it reduces the storage capacity, but workable. The only (minor) annoyance is that the pictures show bottles being stored at the bottom of the fridge at an angle, but note there is no rack or support for this and they are just being balanced against the back edge. However, the wire frame at the front is quite solid and bottles can be safely stored lying on their side across-ways. I don't regard this as enough to dock a full point. Overall, we're very happy with our purchase and our bubbly is now all happy being stored in a single location. Cheers!

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this cooler. It’s the perfect size to fit right beside my KingChii Humidor. It is built durable but not heavy so if I need to move it this is light enough. The ability to control the temperature and set it for a perfect hill is great. It is quiet so I don’t hear humming. So easy to use. Just plug in and it’s ready to go. It is one of the best wine fridges on the market and worth its weight in gold.

The workmanship of this unit is impressive and the sale price reasonable. The 2 separate temperature zones is effective and the manner in which the unit was prepared for shipping was outstanding. The described bottle capacity of this cooler is inaccurate, contrary to the per the manufacturer's advertised 46 bottle capacity. This capacity feature is grossly misleading and if I was aware of this condition, a different cooler would have been purchased. The capacity of this cooler is a function of the bottle's diameter, 12 (750 ml) bottles of a Cab S from CA required 2.5 shelves and due to the bottle's diameter, moving adjacent shelves is exceptionally difficult and may compromize the wooden shelve's integrity! The claim of up to 46 bottles needs to be defined per the size of the wine bottles to be stored therein.

From the moment I unpacked it to setting it up, I was very impressed. The packaging was well done protecting the cooler/refrigerator from any damage. I placed it on a stainless-steel table, waited 3 hours then turned it on. Within 5 to 6 minutes, it reached my set point of 54 degrees. Set up was extremely easy and it's appearance was that of a more expensive unit. The temperature is accurate and constant. Needless to say, I am very happy with my new wine cooler/refrigerator.

This wine fridge works great. It was whisper quiet the first month, but has since developed a noticeable buzz during the cooling phase of the compressor. It only lasts 10-15 seconds probably every 30 minutes, and is only noticeable if the tv is off. Our wine fridge is also in the living room 10 feet away.
