  • Best Tent
Color: GREEN
This tent is hope will be the last i ever purchase. Very sturdy, plenty of room for 2 people with 4 small dogs. It is very heavy unfortunately but very easy to put up and take down after first putting it up. Probably the easiest tent ive ever assembled or taken down. Also you dont have to worry about perfect folding when packing up, theres plenty of extra space to be lazy in the storage bag. ... show more

  • Cheap Chinese Crap
Color: GREEN
Cheap. Tent was a real pain to set up with one person and just as hard to take down. Instructions aren’t the best either. Zipper seam broke the first night in use. Only the top is canvas, the rest of the tent feels as thin as a balloon. Buyer beware.

  • Spacious and good quality!
Color: GREEN
Got my camp on the right day. Went with our friends on a road trip and camping. I liked the guidelines on how to set up- which made it easy for us. The material is great and we didn’t feel the heat too, so that was the best part of it!

  • Not worth it
Color: KHAKI
The whole tent is not canvas. Just the top. The rest is lightweight plastic, yes even the floor. Otherwise it is lightweight, it is a pain to set up, and it is simply not worth the money I paid.

  • A lot of tent for the money but definitely not a forever tent
Color: KHAKI
This is my initial review after setting and leaving it up in the yard for a few days. I will update after i've spent a weekend in northern Michigan for turkey camp. This is definitely a 'budget' 3-season hot tent. I bought it because I didn't want to spend $700+ on actual canvas wall tent for one weekend out of the year but if this tent performs I may spring for a better model from a different manufacturer. That being said it's got a lot going for the money. Pros and cons below: Pros: -Large and spacious. I am 6'2" and can stand up in the middle. I was able to fit a queen size inflatable mattress and a tent stove inside of it no problem. -Once setup it's sturdy and it survived some moderate winds (15-25mph) without issue. -Lots of ventilation and can easily unzip/roll up windows and doors. -The first night it was up we got about 1/10" rain and it was bone dry on the interior. -Setup is fairly easy and achievable by one person but much easier with two. You can ignore the majority of the pole ties, but specifically the ones at the peak of the end frame poles. Just make sure your tent pole is seated on the interior of the tent and that the canvas top is not folded over on itself (easy mistake to make if you are setting up yourself) because you will have to remove the pole to get it to fold back over again. -Tent poles are sturdy aluminum. -Everything is double stitched and seam sealed as far as I could tell. -Zippers glide easily with generous zipper pulls. -Large storage bag that you don't have to fight to get the tent back into. -Included stakes are better than most and the guylines are thicker paracord-type material with metal/aluminum slides. Cons: -Fabric is on the thinner side. I don't expect it to last forever. -The top fabric is a treated cotton 'canvas' that I have some serious doubts will be able to handle sparks from a stove. I did run a stove in it for a few hours and did not have any holes form thankfully, but it's hard to see how they wouldn't if you are using softwoods like pine, cedar, wet wood. Consider a mesh screen around your spark arrestor if you are running a stove. The stove jack did not leak. -The rest of the tent is a thin polyester fabric - no different than other cheap tents. You will want to put down a tarp or similar for a footprint if you are camping in area with lots of debris / pokey things. Manufacturer does not have a footprint available for this tent but there are many 8x10 tarps on the market. -The 'pockets' for the ends of the tent poles are just two strips of velcro. DO NOT undo them to get the ends of the poles in them. Undoing them just means you have to attempt to redo them around the bottom of the pole, which is almost impossible without it slipping out. And out of all of the 'cons' this is actually my biggest gripe with this tent because I can see in the future where the pole may slip out of the pocket and the bottom will be rubbing against the tent floor and likely wear a hole in it over time. Would much prefer an actual woven pocket versus the crappy velcro straps. If the manufacturer is reading this PLEASE upgrade this!!! -Exterior tent doors only lap the opening by a few inches and only have a few small strips of velcro to keep them in place and are easily seperated. I could see where in high winds and/or driving rain the exterior door would become loose and possibly allow water into the tent. Would prefer a better way to secure these doors. I may add some extra velcro tape yet. -There are lots of ties for the tent poles which are uneccessary imo. The velcro along the interior does a better job of keeping the poles in place without having to deal with small knots in the thin ties. -Lastly would prefer if there was a larger and/or optional awning/vestibule that could be attached. As is the awning extends 10-12" from the top of the tent but you will not be able to leave anything outdoors if there is rain in the forecast it will have to go in the tent with you. Anyway... as said before there is a LOT of tent here for the money. Will it last forever or hold up as good as a $1,000+ tent? Probably not. Just don't plan on taking it on the side of a mountain in the dead of winter or the approach to Rainier. But it should be just fine for the backyard and/or most state parks in the spring/summer/fall. Will update review after i've actually camped with it. ... show more
