I had my first night of sleep on this new mattress pad, and overall it did not disappoint! I am not a fan of memory foam mattress pads, so when I found this pillow top one, I knew I had to try it. It came vacuum sealed in a box and started to puff up right after I cut the bag open. I decided to wash it before I put it on the bed, and it washed and dried nicely! It did need dried a couple times since it requires low heat, but I was surprised how dry it was considering how thick it is. It fit our queen size bed perfectly, and as advertised, was very deep and fit easily over our mattress. Washing and drying it did not affect the thickness of it and after I put the rest of the bed together, it was still so puffy! It made quite the improvement to our worn out pillow top mattress. It felt like I was laying on a new bed! The only negative I have, is that when I woke up in the morning, I did notice it dipped in a bit while I slept and I’m not sure how many nights it will take for the spot I sleep in to get overused. Overall, I highly recommend! Especially if you can get it on sale like I did!!

The pad fits the bed well and doesn't seem to slide around. Thats about as positive as I can get. Down alternative my behind. Doesn't that imply that it would have qualities resembling down? Well it doesn't. I mean anything is a down alternative. Other down alternatives: bricks, oil, nails., Or anything else that isn't down. It's misleading and shouldn't be allowed to say down alternative when it has no resemblance to down. You might get your pad to look a little like the one in the pic. Lay on it once though and it's flat as a pancake. This cheap-ass fill material will not fluff back up on its own even a tiny bit. If you've ever bought a cheap pillow that ater a short time is flat and lumpy, this is that same fill material as what's in this topper. And finally, shame on all of you who are too lazy or cowardly to give an honest review. If you 5 starred this product. You either a. Reviewed it before you ever even used it or b. Have exactly zero understanding of how and why to use reviewing. Hint, it's so people can make decisions based on how the product performs, not how it is packed or how fast it got delivered. Smh
