I was one of the skeptical ones. Though I would roll the dice and try this mattress out. The medium firm is more on the soft side, not that firm at all. I let it sit for about 72 hours, no smell, no issues what so ever. Very comfortable (14"). It is very similar to a traditional mattress you would buy from a mattress store, though i do find the edges to be too soft, that is the main difference between this box mattress and a traditional mattress bought from a store. But the cost for me was the obvious deciding factor. More than 1/2 the price of a traditional mattress from a typical mattress store. I am happy with the purchase, but round up on the soft firm level. If you are looking for a traditional medium firm, get one that is higher than this.

I’ve had trouble sleeping for weeks and the second I lye down on this mattress I sleep like a rock. Definitely one of the best mattress I’ve ever had. It fits me just right and it has just the right amount of firmness. I don’t sink into it like other mattress. And the price was amazing. Definitely a top tier mattress.

I’m not going to lie when I bought a mattress in a box for this amount of money I didn’t expect the best quality. However, this mattress has given me the best sleep of my life and I’m not exaggerating. We literally slept on it without a sheet the first night. If you’re worried, don’t be buy the freaking mattress! It’s the perfect balance of soft pillow top and firmness underneath. Its height is perfect, it’s got great edge support, it’s beautiful by itself. This should be a $2000 mattress.

This mattress is super soft, I sink in so far I can't move around in my sleep and wake up sweaty because it doesn't breathe. The seller gave me a 30% refund and I purchased a "firm" mattress topper as a fix, but it hasn't solved the problem and now I have to buy an entirely new mattress. I really wanted to like this, and I appreciate the seller's attempt to make up for the problem, but I just can't. They really need to change the description for this item, it is completely wrong.
