Let me start this by saying, I am about as cheap (my friends say thrifty) as it comes. I know some things you can give up quality over the cost, but some you just cannot. Fortunately with this purchase I did not have to give up an ounce of quality, I was able to get EXACTLY what I was looking for, and at a price that not only competes with lesser quality products but beats them out! Now the product review itself. Little background, I spent many years in the Army and while I loved (and still love) what I did, my body did NOT. Supposedly you are not supposed to feel pain all the time, and it is not supposed to wake you up from deep sleep, especially at the ripe age of 36 (in Earth Human years). My body clearly did NOT get that memo and it is actually 86 in Army years. I have tried all sorts of different mattresses over the years and some have given relief, but many have just led to new types of pain and stiffness. In my stubborn, true military persona, way I just pushed through and dealt with it. Well in the last year I have accidentally grown the number of family members, one kid's friend came over for a play date and now they live with us. One kid's friend had a pup that needed saved and next thing I know new puppy, then another fur baby shows up in the night, mid winter and says "I'm home" and refuses to leave. Well what happens when you get kids and puppies and kittens all in a room together? Chaos...chaos is what happens. What happens when a puppy get's so excited and they haven't fully learned bladder control? Yep you guessed it...piddle (pee/urine for those who do not know the colloquialism of piddle). Now, what happens when one animal smells another animal's scent on a place they believe is "theirs"? Again you are right...they "mark" it with their own urine. So here I am going to work like a normal person, it's summer so kids are home with animals and just living their best life as teens do. It's a loooong work day, I leave the office probably 2hours AFTER I was supposed to leave. I just want to go home and lie down for a couple minutes to rest my eyes and brain. I go into my bedroom when I am very rudely accosted by a very pungent smell. Side note...did you know that teenagers tend to not clean up messes like that if they are not told? Just mine? Must be defective...I should see about a refund on teenagers. Back to the story: So here I am ready to fall over and rest, when this smell absolutely tears through my overly sensitive olfactory senses. My eyes begin to water and I very quickly leave the room. After gathering myself I adjust my chesticle straps and my pants and go back in. Knowing at any moment I might die...or worse...have to breathe it in again. With my adrenaline mom strength I pushed and pulled that mattress out of my room, down the hall, down the stairs and out the front door to the lawn for trash pickup. What did I do for sleep? Well remember when I said I had a bonus minion in the house now? Yea we have been planning to do a bedroom swap and house reorganization to make comfortable room for everyone and stop living on top of one another. In that planning means another bed for kiddo, well that mattress (which came from some awesome friend's guest room in their hunting cabin...that they are sadly selling) it is the same size as my mattress and had not yet been setup. So I put that mattress in my room for the interim and just decided that they would get this bed when we swapped rooms, and I would buy a new mattress and install it in my new room in the basement (thank gawd no stairs!). So then I finally found a mattress to buy that seemed to be what I needed and I hoped and prayed it would be comfortable at the very least. Now, fast forward a couple weeks, the new mattress has arrived, the bedrooms are beginning to take shape and I am able to set the bed up. I get it setup and leave it for a few days to fully get to size (they had this thing vacuum packed and rolled SO TIGHT I am pretty sure it could have plugged a micro meteor hole on the space station! Aaaaanywho, I gave it a few days to get back to normal. Then the test. Keep in mind, normally I wake up often from pain and I wake up in pain. It is an ongoing cycle of pain and frustration. So last night was the first night sleeping on this new bed. LET ME TELL YOU WHHHHAT! I did not wake up from the pain a SINGLE TIME! When I woke in the morning the normal pain was softer and I felt so rested! The description says it is thick and firm and it has pressure relief. What it didn't say is that this thing is like the bed from Bedknobs and Broomsticks except it will transport your SOUL so you can sleep in peace! I woke up with energy and the ability to move, I felt like Will Ferrell in "Step Brothers"..."SO MANY ACTIVITIES!" I am not entirely sure what kind of witchcraft, voodoo, hoodoo, or whatever you want to call it is being done in the factory where these are made. Whatever it is...I am here for it! When the time comes to purchase another mattress I WILL be getting another one of these. I have now spammed all of my Army buddies that I can and bugged EVERYONE I work with about it, lord knows they are probably tired of me now. If you take only one thing from this review take this: this mattress is life changing, it is exactly what is listed and so much more. For me it is more than just comfortable, it has given me back some of my old self. It truly is amazing and terrifying how long term chronic pain can chip away at a person, but then something like this comes along and gives some of those chips back. It is amazing. I absolutely recommend this product. To the makers...I need you to NOT go out of business, I will be needing another mattress down the road and I must have another one of these. I cannot just buy extras to keep on hand like I do my favorite shoes or jeans. So please, take care of yourself and continue to be awesome!

I waited a few months before posting this review to make sure that the mattress was up to the expected standard. Wright out of the box this mattress felt firm if not a little too firm, after a few days the mattress feels fantastic and I’ve had guests complement it continuously. It has a great depth and has the feel of a much more expensive mattress.

So far so good. We unpacked and setup the mattress on our bed and it popped right up. The gap in our bedframe is 10 inches so we went with a 12 inch mattress to ensure it was covered. It expanded pretty quickly. It feels firm and has bounce but it's comfortable. We're sleeping on it same night just because we don't have anything else to sleep on. I'm hoping it holds up. We previously had a large sleeper Serrat queen mattress and paid 1500 for that mattress. With an upgrade to a king bed, the mattress feels the same spending less. I removed a star because they use FedEx for shipping and this mattress took forever to get here! The day that it was supposed to be delivered the package got re-routed and they delivered it the next day.
