this assembled mostly easily, though it was not exactly square..the middle was tighter for the "slats" than the outside, to the point that i had to wedge them in. they also do not lock into place, and can come loose if it's flipped over at all. the cover was easy to install. overall, it's an ok platform, but doesn't provide anything more than you'd have with a base bed that has reasonable slatting ... show more

These boxspring are a great idea if you live in an apartment or a small home. No need to worry about getting in room. However, this box spring needed a little diy to work. I had to use a drill bit to make a hole from the top because the holes were on sides. The bolt goes in from top. For something thats almost $150 I should not have to do this extra step. I don't know why I haven't been using one of these, it's wonderful. I have a wooden slat bed frame, guess it's getting old, I have a few extra floor supports underneath it and I noticed a slight difference then, but then I put this on top of the wooden slats and for the past few nights I have slept so deep and nice. It doesn't make any noise, adds a huge amount of support, and limits vibrations felt through the floor. Simple to put together everything folds out and you screw the main pieces together and the place the metal pieces between.
