Recently, we discovered that the wood box spring/platform that came with it was perhaps one of the most cheaply put together piece of you-know-what ever to be paired with a mattress that we spent quite a bit of money on. I toss. I turn. And when I do, the box spring would creak like every old mansion door the Scooby Doo gang opened exploring their weekly mystery. This would wake my wife up. This would make my wife unhappy. Nobody wants that. So we bought this. Assembly was fairly easy (if you have the space), but numerous bolts to crank down. Not super heavy, especially if you wait to insert the slats until after you have it on your bed frame. The result is a rock solid box spring. One the mattress was back on, we jumped, rolled, did swan dives, even flew the whole bed on a Boeing 737 Max through the nastiest turbulence 40,000 feet could throw at us! Not a single creak to be heard. OK... we didn't fly it on a 737... But trust me, this thing is solid!

Pretty easy to put together, works great and is pretty sturdy. Nice cover that comes with it. Pretty happy with the price of it. Definitely worth buying if you need a good but cheap boxspring.

Intuitive design allowed for fairly easy assembly. The parts fit properly, and the cover was easy to put on. I am a little leary that the foundation could support 3,000 lbs; nonetheless, it is quite sturdy.

bought this item for "ease of assembly" however it would appear that hellen keller is alive and well running quality control. The frame itself was not the correct size and had very noticable bowing on each sides. The frame couldnt even be assembled and even after manhandling pieces together, the slats were still too short to use by at least 2" on each side. The directions were clear and easy to follow, unfortuanetly it would appear that when they make the actual pieces, the workers must be blindfolded or not follow any standard whatsoever
